The moon made way for the sun to invade the pitch black night. The pale sky turned to a crystal blue, the dragons awakening to the morning bloom.

However, it was the opposite for Hiccup. His body collapsed onto his bed, immediately when his head hit the pillow it was lights out.

He and and couple others, including his crew, spent all night aiding the injured dragon. It was horrible. The dragon just wouldn't stay still. It refused help, it was frightened. Whatever hurt the dragon, it hurt it physically and mentally. It was dreadful.

Toothless attempted to keep down the dragon, and as a result he got a bite mark on his tail. Oh well, at least he can have a cool scar like Hiccup's. Hiccup's crew were invited to stay near the building where Hiccup was due to the fact it was near the forest and had a wide space for their dragons to rest.

Hiccup thought that they aren't coming with their dragons, which confused him, yet like Gobber, Gustav and Fishlegs, he just misunderstood things. The injured dragon was riding the small boat, and the crew were riding their dragons.

Now on the other hand, Stoick was just waking up. With the morning sunlight shining through the window, the bitter coldness of the night turning to a warm breeze. The leader placed his vessel and usual attire on, rushing out of his house to his morning duties, but not before slamming the door on his way out.

The dragon in the house jumped at the loud bang, his startled expression plastered on his face, all ears pricked up as he frantically searched around. When Toothless realized it was Stoick, he couldn't help but grumble as he shuffled back to the spot he was asleep in.

His rider, however, was just too deep in his sleep to hear the grumbles of his dragon, let alone the bang of the door. He smiled softly as he snuggled in his bed, the pillow beneath his head just for this moment felt like a cloud, the blanket draped over him felt like the warm embrace of a dragon.

BANG BANG BANG! Hiccup fell out his bed, his face showed utter disgust as he snapped his glare towards the door. "HICCUP!" That voice.. Astrid?! What is she doing here?? Does she not realise I need my god forsaken sleep?! Hiccup groaned, looking at his dragon who hid his face beneath his claws grumbling.

As Hiccup stood up and groggily walked towards the door, it opened before he could even reach for the handle. "HICCUP OH MY GOD, FINALLY YOU'RE AWAKE- WHERE'S TOOTHLESS??" The blonde's eyes were full of worrisome, surprising the dragon rider.

Hiccup gestured towards his dragon who still attempted to hid underneath his own claws. When all of a sudden, he heard raging footsteps bombarding towards him and a gentle, long stroke going down his tail and stopping where he had his bite mark. He looked up to see Astrid herself, being a worried mother-hooded figure.

"Damn it, that dragon, what did he do to you Toothless?" She questioned, her gaze shifting from the bite mark to Toothless's eyes. A stern, heavy look glued onto her face. An emotion that Toothless had no idea how to react to filled Astrid's eyes. The female got up and walked over, sitting next to Toothless's front legs and rubbed his head.

"Astrid, is this all you came here for..?" Hiccup groaned, closing the door before struggling back towards his bed. Astrid faced him while she rubbed the dragon's neck, comforting him enough to the point he falls asleep on her lap.

"Oh shut up, Toothless is just as important and precious as any other." She mumbled, a grouchy look on her face as she averted her gaze to the Night Fury. Hiccup lied down in his bed, draping the blanket over him. A train of thoughts moved in his head; wow, we've come a long way, huh?

A moment of silence passed, and as Toothless finally fell asleep, Astrid stood up and walked towards Hiccup, sitting on the edge of the bed. He felt her presence closer, opening his eyes he turned him head and sat up, resting his back on the bed board. A look of concern plastered on the blonde's fade.

"Hiccup..?"
"Yeah?"
"What are you going to do about the dragon?"
"I...."

Solemn silence I engulfed the room once more, this time, a thick, worrisome feeling tagged along.

"I don't know."
