Cole's pov
I growled protectively positioning my self in front of my mate as the man in front of us spoke once again.
"No need to get your tail in a twist Wolfie, we're not here to hurt her, we're here to speak with our daughter", the man said in an amused but stern voice. Power leaking through his pores.
His words stunned me to the core, my mate, my mate found her parents.
Alexis pov
My parents?
I don't want to see them! They gave me up! They gave me up and yet they have a son and keep him! Ugh!
I can feel my anger and hate seeping out of my skin, my eyes burning bright with fiery rage. 'Give them a chance' , a voice said in my head 'They their reasons' , it continued.
What the heck! First I found my birth parents and my biological brother and now I have a weird voice in my head. Like what the actual f*ck!
'Who the heck are you?!', I screeched confused. 'I am your wolf, Raine', she replied sweetly.
'Are those really my parents?', I asked insecurely.
'Yes Lex they are. Just hear them out, they had their reasons for what they did and you need to hear them', she stated all-knowingly.
'Ok', I replied with a huff.
As I zoned back I to situation I noticed everyone's eyes on me. "What?", I voiced.
Cole looked at me in awe "your eyes just went violet again", he stated dreamily.
I stared at him for moment before shrugging my shoulders dismissively, "okay".
I looked back the people who are my 'family'. "Do you want to come inside?", I asked politely. I figured I'd be the bigger person.
They nodded and we headed off toward the pack house through the luscious wildlife, me nestled under Cole's arm possessively.
When we reached the pack house Cole led us inside to a business like room. We took the seats at the end of the table whilst the others found seats around the table as well.
I joined my hands together on the table and leant forward as I spoke, "so, 'family', who wants to start?".
