"Sir the enemy has reached the castle its only a matter of minutes before they enter"
"Gods dammit! Where have you gods gone to? Can't you see your precious Hyrule is being destroyed?" The king shouted. The queen responded "please we need to evacuate, we need to leave!" The king seemed infuriated by the queens sudden outburst. "sir we need orders. What would you wish us to do?"
The king sat back in his thrown deep in thought. "I want all the archers on the walls and the guards ready for the attack in the main entry" the king spoke and then shouted "but hurry! don't stand there like a fool! This is war!"
The young scout scared raced out of the throne room leaving the young prince, the queen and the king in the room. The Queen opened her mouth to say something but the King was faster "I will not leave my kingdom in this dark time. I will not abandon the people of hyrule for my own safety. I will stay and i will fight alongside of my brave soldiers. If they have to give there lives for the beauty of this land, i will as well."
"Don't be ridiculous! You'll get killed! And what good will a dead king serve to hyrule! We must live and fight another day! Don't be a fool, please i beg of you plea-" the Queen was cit off "I will not be deemed a coward! I will fight! I will not run like a filthy rat! I will stay and I will win!"
The queen was now shocked this man in front of her was not the man she feel in love with this man was blinded by revenge, this man wanted the blood of his enemy even if it had the price of his own life. The Queen spoke again "You may stay here and die in your castle, but i will not risk the life of my child! I will leave at once, i won't stand a fool blinded by vengeance." with that the queen turned his back on the King and took the hand of her 5 year old child,her only child and she proceeded to walk out of the throne room.
"You will leave but the gods will not aid you or our child if you leave! It is better to stay!" The queen didn't listen and left the room.
The king was left alone in the throne room. The King looked around the room and put on his armor, something told him that this will be his last day as king. He looked around the room it was grim he looked at the 3 statues of the goddesses above his thrown "Din lend me your strength today in battle. Nayru give me your wisdom to win this fight. Farore give courage to my soldiers." With that the king left the throne room
The room was now empty.
