Ch 8

"Why were you so red when you saw Talor?" I asked Anna one Taylor and Matt dropped us off at our house. They had taken us to a fro-yo place, Rachel's favorite froy-yo place. She would be jealous later.

"It was just really hot outside." Anna said. "And I'm dating Sam, so whatever you think...it's not like that. It's not like whats between you and Matt and Connor," she added guardingly. "You shouldn't even worry about Connor, he seems kind of gay anyway."

"Oh, my god! He's not gay how many times do I have to tell you? Anyways, you were SO blushing and you wouldn't even call Sam and tell him hi yourself, but you are constantly texting Taylor. Were you even shopping with Rachel the other day? Because I swear I heard snoring come from her room," the words kind of fell out of my mouth in a rush. Anna had tears forming in her eyes, she was always emotional.

Tears started running down her face, "I don't even like Sam! And I was with Taylor, Rachel was sleeping. I don't know....Sam is so boring and Taylor just amazing but I don't think that Taylor likes me that way. Yeah, he kissed me and all, but he would've asked me to be his girlfriend by now! And Sam is good for nothing, all he does is go to fricking Starbucks 24/7." Anna kept talking, but I had zoned out by the time she began complaining about Sam.

"What's wrong with her?" Rachel asked in her most judgemental voice as soon as she walked in the front door, "She looks like crap."

"Oh, thanks!" Anna yelled at her, "Its not like you look any better."

"I'm sorry my face is burning your eyeballs!" Rachel screamed before running back out the front door. God, sometimes I hate being in the same house with two other girls.

*Later*

*Anna's POV*

After both Rachel and Liz had gone away. I sat up and looked at my phone. Two new messages.

Sam: Starbucks at six?

Taylor: Wanna come over?

"Of course..." I rolled my eyes, "Starbucks." I opened the message from Sam and said I already had plans, he is so freaking boring! I then opened the message from Taylor.

Me: Sure! What time? (;

Taylor: RN!!

Me: Sure, be right over.

I stood outside Taylor's door and rung the door, less than a second later the door opened. I looked up and smiled at...Sam. This is great, Sam's here!

"Uh...what are you doing?" Sam asked confused. He fixed his hair like he always does when he see's me, "I thought you were busy."

"Oh, very. I'm just here to pick up some boxes from Taylor for Liz. You know her, can't do anything for herself...haha." I lied.

"Anna! Hey!" Taylor shouted as he walked up behind Sam, "Come in, Sam was supposed to be gone by now, but Ricky didn't come to pick him up."

"What is SHE doing here?" Sam asked heatedly, "I didn't know you had boxes that were very important to Liz."

"I don't, why would Liz need boxes from me. Maybe from Matt. I don't really talk to Liz that much. Anna was just coming over to hang out." Taylor would be one for the truth at a time like this.

Sam looked toward me, "These were the plans you had? I didn't know you hung out with other guys." His face got redder than it normally is.

I didn't even know that Sam hung out with Taylor.
