The moving truck pulled up to the baby blue house, slowing to a stop before Diane got out.

“Gosh that was a long ride!” She exclaimed, helping her younger son out. The young boy known as Ty wriggled in her arms and began to get fussy. “Oh Tyler calm down. Everything is alright.” She said soothingly, bouncing him lightly.

“Matt! Wake up!” Rick shouted into the truck as he got out, his older son still asleep in the seat. Matt opened his eyes groggily and sat up, inching along the seat tiredly and almost falling out of the truck. He took his headphones off and looked at the new house.

“Fell asleep to Lambert again?” His mother asks. Matt chuckles and nods.

“I can’t help it! His voice is just so…soothing!” Matt chuckles again along with his mother as he grabs his backpack from the floor of the truck. Moments later his older sister pulls up in the family car and steps out, smiling. “Alicia!” Matt smiles. “Finally!” Alicia walks over and smiles, hugging an arm around her brother. “I call picking my room first!” Matt shouts as he dashes up into the house and past his parents in the living room.

“No fair you little brat!” Alicia chuckled as she chased after her younger brother, trying to beat him to the best room. Too late.  She found Matt standing in the basement, which was huge and a perfect bedroom size.

“Called it!” He exclaimed and chuckled. “My room now!”

“You little brat!!!” Alicia said, a hint of jealousy in her voice.

“Sorry Ally~ shoulda’ been faster.” He gave her a cheesy smile and ran up to tell his mom.

I couldn’t wait to explore my new neighborhood! I pedaled as fast as I could down Van Buren road, climbing up the massive hill that I came to.  I make it to the top and look down; I smirk and push my bike forward, speeding down the hill as fast as the bike can go. I give a happy ‘Wahoo!’ as I near the bottom. Once there I fly through the empty intersection and head for the park I see in the distance.

I lay on the park bench, my bike propped up beside me, my eyes closed and singing ‘Call Me Maybe’.

“Ripped jeans, skin was showin’, hot night, wind was blowin’~” I sang happily to myself, or so I thought until I heard a chuckle behind me. I looked to see and incredibly handsome boy standing behind the bench, leaning his arms on it and smiling a bit at me.

“Better than that Carly what’s-her-face chick.” He said, smiling at me and tucking a stand of his gorgeous blonde hair behind his ear.

“Th-thanks.” I blush and stutter out, trying not to stare too much at the amazingly sexy demigod standing in front of me. I happened to catch a glimpse of his chocolate brown eyes through his long swooshy hair and I almost melted on the spot.

“So what’s yours?” He asked me.

“H-huh?” I asked. Crap! I completely drowned him out!

“I said my names Alan. What’s yours?” He chuckled and my heart skipped a beat.

“O-Oh I-I’m Matt.” I said smiling nervously. “I just moved here.”

“Ahh that would explain why I’ve never seen you. May I sit with you?” He asked politely and I sat up, scootching to make a spot for him.

“Of course!” I said happily and he sat next to me, we sat and talked for a while on random topics. I liked it. I looked at the sky and saw it was getting dark, Alan stood.

“My moms gonna want me home soon. Bye Matt, it was nice meeting you.” He said honestly, a big smile on his face. He turns to leave, but stops. He looks back at me. “Can I use your phone real quick?” I nod and hand it to him. He dials something and hangs up quickly, typing something in and handing it back to me. “Call me.” He smirks.

“But I don’t have your-“ He cuts me off.

“Check your phone.” He said, still smirking and walking off. I check, lo and behold there it is. He had called himself from my phone just to have my number.  Once he was safely gone I squealed with joy, doing a small happy dance in my seat, I got onto my bike and rode back toward home.
