Each day she woke up
with a spring in her step
a tune on her lips
and a thought in her head
She survived the day,
and lived the nights,
she danced under the moon
she breathed without fright,
She dreamt of things,
so precious and so kind,
she kept them safe
in the labyrinth of her mind.
The seeds of her dreams,
they grew to be great,
her eyes she closed,
as her heart met its fate
For her dreams fed her soul,
and they were now complete,
and thus she slept
to cease her heart beat.
