I watched him work his way around the kitchen, and it was quite amusing. He was scrambled, and didn’t know what to do. I laughed watching him, “Do you need help?” I offered. He glanced at me, and gave me a half smirk, “No. You’re the guest, and I’m a man.”
I sighed, “You’re too high on your pride to admit that you need help.”
He knew I was right, but like I said, he was too high on his pride. “It’s almost done.” He said, lifting his arms up. He turned everything off, and put everything into dishes. He brought them to the table, and directed me to sit. He pushed in my chair, and then sat across from me. “It looks amazing.” I stated, filling my plate. He did as well, and we began eating. It was as amazing as it smelled. “It’s an orgasm in my mouth.” I mumbled. He tried taking a bite, but couldn’t because he was too busy laughing at me. I shook my head at him, and continued stuffing my mouth. I knew I was most likely embarrassing myself. I don’t think he cared though; he seemed to be getting a laugh out of my actions.
After dinner, I helped him carry all of the dirty dishware into the kitchen. I helped him place the remainders in plastic containers, and placed in the fridge. He gathered all of the dirty dishes, throwing them into the sink. “Do you need help?” I attempted to offer again. He hesitated for a second, “No, it’s okay. Go into the living room, make yourself at home. I’ll be there in a minute.” He bent down, kissing my cheek before starting on the dishes. I took his word, and walked into the living room.
I walked around, and looked at the many pictures around the entertainment center. One of the pictures stood out the most. It was an older picture, and I swore it was Jimmy, Johnny, Matt, and Brian. There was another guy I didn’t recognize. No, that’s impossible. Jimmy and Brian had just met. My curiosity rose quickly. Then seeing another picture, it was Jimmy, Bonnie, and Brian. That can’t be possible. I glanced at it again, just to double check. That was definitely Jimmy, and Bonnie. Jimmy’s arm was wrapped around her waist, and she was leaving a kiss on his neck.
I felt someone’s arms go around my waist, and I jumped. “Shit, Brian! I don’t do that.” I breathed, putting my hand to my chest. I turned to face him, and he had a devious smirk on his face. I pointed to the pictures behind me, “When were you going to tell me you’re a friend of my brother’s?”
“I am a friend of your brother’s.” he stated bluntly.
“You’ve been a friend of my brother’s for years!”
He settled his hands on my hips, “Okay, what’s the big deal?”
I shook my head, “Why didn’t you tell me?”
He gave me a shrug, “Does it matter?”
“Well, no. It’s just the fact that you guys acted like you just met last night. Why when you’ve known each other for years?”
“It doesn’t matter, Emma. We are old friends. That’s all.”
He was keeping something from me. All of them are. “And your friend there?” I pointed to Matt.
He glanced to where I was pointing, “That’s Matt.”
“He’s dating my best friend.”
His eyes widened, and he backed away from me. “I need to make a phone call, I’ll be right back.” He quickly walked out of the room, leaving me alone once again. He was really starting to piss me off. I plopped on the couch, and I leaned my elbow onto a pillow. I felt something bunched under it, and I lifted the pillow to see what it was. It was just a white blazer. I pulled it out, and scanned it for a second. This had to of been a girls jacket. It looked so familiar though, I just couldn’t put my finger on it. Wait a second—“Sorry, I’m back.” Brian came back into the room, smiling at me.
I stood up with the blazer in hand, “Whose is this?” I asked.
He smirked, thinking I was acting like a jealous girlfriend. “A friend of mine.”
I pointed to it, and walked closer to him. “Nora, she was wearing this the last day I saw her. The day before she went missing.”
His smile fell, “It’s my grandma’s.”
I pointed to a small red stain, “And the blood?”
He laughed, “Its wine.”
Now I felt stupid. “Do you think I’m a killer, Emma?” he asked, stepping closer to me. I dropped the blazer on the couch, and took a step closer to him.
I shook my head, grabbing a handful of his shirt. “No, I’m sorry. I’m just young and stup—” his lips interrupted my words. I responded by kissing him back. His tongue traced my bottom lip, begging for entrance. I opened my mouth a little, granting him entrance. The kiss became deeper, and we became more physical. He pulled away for a second, panting against my lips. “Want to see my room?” he whispered. I nodded with a smile, and he showed me to his room.
