Chapter 5: im sorry (part 3)

Galaxy's POV:

I had just got dropped off at my house after we had finished the mission. My arm still has stitches in it so I will have to wear a cardigan tomorrow to cover them. I shower and put on my American flag onesie.

I sat in front of my TV and watched transformers. It gets a bit lonely that I'm alone in this house. I live alone. When the movie was finished I went to bed without eating anything.

(Next morning)

I woke up and got ready for school. I ate some toast and grabbed my cardigan and ran out the door.

I arrived at school 5 mins before the bell so I hung out with the gang. The bell rang signifying I had English with Keri. It was alright. I got some homework but I mostly just talked to Keri.

The bell rang signalling it was time for lunch. I went and sat under a tree and started drawing in my sketch book. I saw Tom waking over to me. He's ok, kinda cute I guess in that nerdy way. But I'm sill a little bit mad at him.

Tom's POV:

I saw galaxy sitting outside under a tree drawing. I went and sat next to her. " Hey!" I said "hi" she replied bluntly still focused of drawing.

" I'm sorry for everything yesterday I really didn't mean it. Its just that when I'm with you I feel like a jock. I don't feel so nerdy. I'm sorry I was just trying to be more manly. I really didn't mean it. Can you ever forgive me and maybe one day we could be friends?" I asked her.

She looked up at me and dropped her pencil. " No. I can't forgive you and be friends..... because I already forgive you and we're already friends" she said smiling at me. I smiled back at her. I felt all giddy.

" Hey can I show you something?" she asked me. " Of course" I replied. " You can't tell anyone. No one knows, not even Stella ok. " She said. "Ok I promise" I replied.

She rolled up her pants so I could see her thighs and they were full of scars. " Oh my god" I said. I saw tears in her eyes. "I get it ,you don't wanna be friends anymore, it's fine." She started to walk away crying but I grabbed her arm.

Then I did the last thing a nerd like me could ever do, the last thing I thought I would ever be able to do...

I kissed her.

It felt amazing. My whole body was tingly and I felt fireworks. She pulled away "this is for kissing me without asking" she said and punched my arm. " And this is for not leaving when I showed you my scars" she said and pecked me on the cheek. "I'm sorry" I stuttered. "Don't be, I liked it" she said smiling at me. I blushed and sat down with her again only this time I held her hand.

Galaxy's POV:

When Tom kissed me I was a little taken back but I liked it. I felt fireworks and it was amazing. I'm glad he didn't run when I showed home my past.

We got a call from frank saying that it was an emergency. We ran to the base still holding hands and when we got there Dan and Keri were already there with frank and Stella. When the all saw out hands entwined they all looked suspicious. So we took our hand apart. I felt saddened but I forgot about it.

"So frank what's so urgent?" I asked. " Oh nothing but I just wanted to thank you all for your hard work last night" he replied. We nodded and left to go to class. Today was amazing and it can only get better. I now know that I can trust tom and I think i like him. A lot actually.
