"So tell me more about this, 'tall, dark, and mysterious' date that you have." I asked CeCe as I blended the contour into my cheeks and nose.

"You know him, Damon Salvatore? You know, the tan and toned guy in our Algebra class. He swims on the swim team and is a really good friend of Jackie's. She hooked him up with me to help me out. He's Stephan's brother." CeCe pouted while applying more lipstick. I finalized my now straight hair, a rare occurrence, and spun around to see CeCe hopping around struggling to pull on her skinny jeans. I crossed my arms and snickered at her struggles to pull the skin tight jeans over her butt. I jumped up and grabbed the back of her pants tugging upwards helping her pull them up.

"Suck your ass in girlfriend!" I laughed tugging until the pants were finally on her body. "C, I really think your butt got bigger this past summer." I laughed as she shook her butt at me. I slid off my paint covered sweatpants and makeup stained jersey from old lacrosse games and replaced them with a white, long sleeved body suit. Turning towards CeCe for approval; she nodded, her shirt being shed from her body.

"Hey Carse, have you seen my black jack—" Scott froze in the doorway, his eyes scanning over CeCe's tan torso and black lace bra. He licked his lips and met her eyes.

"SCOTT!" I yelped jumping in front of CeCe attempting to cover her up. Scott's hands instantly covered his eyes as he shifted uncomfortably. "No. No I haven't seen your black jacket." I groaned as he nodded and began out the door, before pausing once more.

"Wait, why are you two getting all fancied up?" Scott asked not turning in order to avoid CeCe half naked in front of him.

"We have a double date to attend." I said pushing him out of the door further.

"And who would that b—" Scott started.

"Goodbye Scott!" I sang shutting the door all the way.

"Your brother just saw me in a bra." CeCe observed. I rolled my eyes and nodded while pulling my black pants onto my legs. "That was so hot." CeCe moaned falling back onto my bed.

"I think i'm gonna barf. Lord help me." I gagged at the sight of my best friend sharing these thoughts of my brother. And yet, I couldn't be happier. CeCe confided in me and shared that not only she had for feelings for him, but she had feelings for him for a while. It was clear as day for anyone to see. Whenever Cecelia Whittemore was near Scott McCall, she was exuberant, shy, and bubbly all at once.

Scott on the other hand was a little better at hiding his feelings. Although it was clear the moment that they had met back in the 4th grade that they were going to end up together, Scott never admitted his feelings. Constantly dating other girls that couldn't compare to CeCe, and making sure she saw his latest girlfriend just to make her see that he didn't need her. But Scott was wrong. He needs her like you need oxygen; desperately and in order to live. CeCe went away on a family vacation to Greece multiple years ago and Scott couldn't sit still. He was fidgety and hardly slept until she was home. He claimed that he was just drinking too much coffee, but his text messages to CeCe told a very different story.

"You know Ceece," I tied my doc martens onto my feet, "I feel as thought this is it. Scott is going to realize what he has been missing this whole time when he sees you fully dressed." I gushed to my best friend who was putting the top half of her hair into a neat man bun on the top of her head. I slid my favorite necklace back onto my neck and fastened my watch on my wrist glancing in the mirror at my hair, a strange sight being straight from the usual wild waves and crazy occasional curls. I slide my arms into my denim jacket happy with my appearance and begin to walk out the door before CeCe stops me.
