"Derek," I turned to the man behind me, "Does Northern blue monkshood mean anything to you?" I asked trying to think of all of the knowledge on werewolves that I had, coming up with nothing.

"It's a rare form of wolfsbane," Derek paused breathing in hard, "He has to bring me the bullet." he moaned in pain yet again. Wolfsbane... Oh my god. That was one of the flowers that my mother planted around the house.

"Why?" Stiles asked looking in the rearview mirror.

"'Cause I'm gonna die without it." Derek connected his eyes with mine. It was almost as if I could see right into his soul. I could notice the feelings of pain. The way his eyebrow cocked slightly in pain and scrunched his face.

"We are gonna need someone else to get him in there Stiles. Not that I don't think that we are weak, but he is a large man." I explained to Stiles. Stiles nodded and glanced over at me, worry clearly written on our faces.

"Are you calling me fat Carson?" Derek cocked an eyebrow.I rolled my eyes in response and went back to texting Cece.

Carson: HOMIE

YO

I NEED YOU

WE NEED YOU ACTUALLY

ITS A BIT OF AN EMERGENCY

CeCe: What do you need

r u in jail?

u need bail? cuz that be three fiddy

Carson: Can you meet me at the animal clinic asap?

No questions asked? Just do it!

Please

CeCe: b there in 5

Carson: bless ur soul.

I stood next to Stiles parked outside of the animal clinic. Derek was still in the car practically bleeding out while we waited for CeCe. I tapped my foot impatiently on the ground starting to feel the anxious feeling in my stomach. But I couldn't seem to figure out why. Derek has been an ass to us since we met him. Stiles intwined his hand with mine and began to rub tiny circles into it in an attempt to calm me down. I breathed a sigh of relief when I saw the headlights of the Porsche. CeCe clambered out of the vehicle and sprinted over to us.

"What? What's wrong? What is going on?" She panted out of breath, glancing at our intertwined hands as Stiles rolled his eyes and pointed to the man in the back seat.

"Oh my-"

"I know." I cut CeCe off pulling my hand out of Stiles and briskly getting to the car to help Derek out. The two stood a few feet away looking at me as I started to get Derek out of the car. "Well don't just stand there! Come help me." I barked making the two rush over to me to help.

Derek began searching through the drawers of the animal clinic as blood was seeping out of his wound. The veins around it becoming a dark blue, almost black color and were bulging out of his skin. Stretching up his arm like a snake coiled around a tree, Derek's veins looked more and more grotesque as the seconds turned to minutes. His body was clearly extremely infected and it seemed as if Scott didn't get there in time with whatever was in the bullet, Derek would be dead.

"Okay. You know, that really doesn't look like anything some echinacea and a good night of sleep couldn't take care of." Stiles stammered over his words gagging at the sight of the arm in front of him. CeCe nodded feverishly in agreement, clearly not enjoying the sight.
