Chapter 3:

Bianca's p.o.v

Ariel is dressed in black skinny jeans and a white tank top that sticks to the little curves she's starting to develop. She's wearing black leather boots and a black beanie covers her chocolate brown hair and black mascara and eyeliner make her light brown eyes pop. I stare openly at her. She has changed. She use to always wear denim jeans with a t shirt and toms like me. but now... " Ariel, this is my friend Carla ," I introduce them. " how ya doin'?" She asks. "good. do you wanna hang out?," I ask. "sure.Mama I'm gonna go with Bianca!," she yells at her mom. " ok!,"is her reply.

We walk along the edge of the street till we reach a small park. All three of us sit down. " you haven't changed Bianca ," states Ariel. "yeah. what happened to you,?" I ask in wonder." Well, my cousin showed took me to this real nice family and so I joined and I just got into this stuff," she says gestures to herself." I can show you and your friend the place and maybe you guys can join.And I know it might be scary but I'll there to help you guys,"she continues.Well Ariel is one of my closest friends and she does keep her promises.... I turn to look at Carla.

"I say why not?,"she says. "ok,"i answer."sweet! we haven't had new member since me.they'll love having two new members of the family,"says Ariel her eyes getting excited.

"When are we gonna go?," I ask."um...well maybe in an hour or something. I was wondering if we could catch up"she says. I just nod my head and smile in response.

After about an hour at my aunts house I tell my parents we are gonna go look around and part of its true.
All of us walk down a dirt road. Ariel leading the way with me and Carla side by side trailing behind her.

I see men and women and kids dressed in dirty clothes in ally ways and on the side of the streets."is it always like this here?,"i whisper to Ariel."here yes."i just nod.I've never been in places like this.

We walk until we reach a small dirty house with all it's windows boarded up.In front stands a man about 6 ft who's all muscle.tattoos trail up and down his exposed arms."hey,Jackie!,"yells Ariel.the giant man smiles at Ariel "hi, Ariel.Those new members," he gestures at us once we are in front of him."they might be.i have to show them around.". "Just telling you girls this place is nice.you might want to stay," says Jackie now talking to Carla and I . I nod and see out of the corner of my eye Carla do the same.

Ariel says bye to Jackie as she leads us in the house.

" Who are those two you have there?,"someone asks as we pass through.people ask Ariel who we are as we pass through.now we stand in front of a door at the back of the big room.Ariel knocks on the door twice.

"Come in," says a voice behind the door.
