Summary of 'Love Till Eternity'

Here is the summary of the Love Till Eternity- (season 1 of this book)

Dev Dixit, the son of a repututed and a well known lawyer, Ravindra Dixit and self-proclaimed prince of the male students finds his pride and huge ego crushed when he stands second in the Quaterly Examination. He loses to Sonakshi Bose , the simple and modest daughter Asha Bose, who is an administrator in JLS Hospital.

Dev takes this as a defeat, who then decides to nurse a personal vendetta to try and crush Sonakshi's growing popularity in college. Sonakshi, however, tolerates him and his friends' remarks and sarcasm as she bears no grudge against him.

As time goes on, they gradually discover the basic qualities of their opponents, one becoming the admirer of the other. They visit beautiful places together on Sundays and call it as 'friendly date' to get to know each other better. They soon fall in love with each other.

Their parents are overjoyed and Ravindra Dixit presents a proposal to Sonakshi's mother to allow their children to marry. But its too early for them to get married. However, they decide that Devakshi will soon get engaged.

When everything is going well, Sonakshi falls ill and is discovered to have leukemia.
Everyone tries to save the girl, and Sonakshi tries her best to keep Dev away from her. But Dev, stands by her side and pledges to himself to provide each and every comfort and happiness to her. Everything seems fine for a while, but Sonakshi's condition suddenly worsens.

She dies in Dev's arms as she makes him promise to rise in life and be happy so that she would be at peace.
