Sakshi, Sakshi Mehra, had recently published the second edition of the biography written by her on Mr Karan Jaiswal, who was known for his work regarding children's education throughout the country.
The hall of Indian Habitat Centre was filled with people who had come to get their books signed by the author herself.
Sakshi, was signing the books for the readers, when the publisher, Mr Rohit Dhawan, walked in.
"Sakshi jee...aap kitne copies sign karengi?? Aise toh raat ho jayegi" he joked
Sakshi looked at him and smiled. "Mr Dhawan, some of the readers have come from far away, How could I refuse them?? I will be free in sometime" she asserted
"Hmm...Ek kaam kariye. Saari books ko mere cabin mein mangwa lete hai, mujhe aapse kuch baat karni hai, aap wahan baithe baithe sign bhi kar dijiyega" he said
"Ofcourse. Its a nice idea" and walked towards his cabin after exchanging pleasantaries with the readers.

"Toh Sakshi jee...next biography kiski likh rahi hain aap??" Rohit asked inquisitively"Kuch naam hain mere dhyaan mein. Research kar rahi hun. But this time, I want to do something very challenging" Sakshi replied
"Shall I suggest you a name, if you don't mind!" Rohit asked hesitatingly
"Sure Mr Dhawan. Boliye" Sakshi smiled
"He is a very big industrialist. Aap unhe philanthropist bhi keh sakti hain. He has done a lot for the society, but has always kept a low- profile. Biography toh door, woh kisiko apna interview bhi nahiin dena chahte. Couple of years back, I had tried too, but was unsuccessful in convincing him" he said
"Ohh....Aap naam toh bataiye unka" Sakshi asked curiously
"Dev Dixit" he said
Sakshi was surprised for a moment. "I have heard about him and his company. Am shocked ki woh kisiko apna interview bhi nahiin dena chahte jabki bade business men toh aisa nahiin karte" she said softly.
"Yeah...I know. Its strange. Main aapko unki details forward kar dunga, but its very difficult to even approach him" he said dejectedly
"Difficult?? Then am sure its gonna be very interesting Mr Dhawan. Because where there is a will, there is a way. I will definitely write Mr Dixit's biography and that too, authorised" she said determined over her next goal.

I would also like to express my gratitude towards its founder, Mr Dev Dixit, who has left no stone unturned in making this hospital developed. He has always made an effort that all the technology and machines are available in this hospital, which are present in foreign countries. Not only this, he, has also made sure that no financial constraints are bigger than one's life. Its because of him that Sonakshi Memorial Hospital is one of the best Hospitals for cancer treatment in our country. He has always taught us that- 'We should be for the wellness of the people, not only for illness' Please give a big round of applause" Dr Sinha, the senior doctor of the hospital gave his speech and faciliated Dev with a bouquet as a token of appreciation and grartitude.Photographers rushed forward to capture this moment but Dev stopped them with a wave of his hand. "No photographs please" he said
Bunty, who now worked with him in his office, whispered into his ears, "Dev, main office jaata hun. Kuch meetings bhi hain aaj Mexican clients ke saath. Uski prepartions karni hai. Tu aaram se aa yaahan ka function khatm kar ke aaja" Dev nodded in approval and Bunty left.
After the function ended, Dr Sinha walked Dev till the car. "Aapne sach much bohot kuch kiya hai Mr Dixit iss hospital ke liye. I have never seen a trustee this much involved in the management and administration of a hospital" said Dr Sinha
"Aisa nahiin hai Dr Sinha. I just try my best to ensure that people dont get separated from their loved ones, because that is the worst feelimg ever" he smiled faintly and sat in his car. The car drove out the hospital premises but Dev was still lost in his thoughts.
The car passed a florist shop and Dev asked the driver to stop the car.
FLASHBACK
Dev had to go Delhi for an annual quiz competition for two days, when they studied in the second year. It was the first time Dev and Sonakshi were to be seperated during their relationship. Therefore Dev, was really excited to be back and spend some time with Sonakshi.
"Sona....I missed you so much" Dev said while hugging her. He had straight away come to garden from the airport and had also messaged Sonakshi to reach there.
Sonakshi hugged him back tightly and they stayed in each other's embrace for sometime before they broke out of the hug.
They filled each other with details that happened in the last two days.
"Dev mere liye tum Delhi se kya laye??" Sonakshi asked out of the blue to Dev's surprise
"Tumhaare liye?? Kuch laana tha kya??" Sonakshi frowned at his reply.
He couldn't remember Sonakshi had ever asked him to buy something for her. In fact, he always complained that Sonakshi wasn't like a typical girlfriend....She never demanded anything from him. Not even on Valentines' day, hug day, rose day, propose day, friendship's day and other such days...... But today, for the first time she had asked for something, and he had nothing to give her.
"Sorry naa Sona...ab mujhe kya pata tha ki tumhe kuch chahiye. Am sorry....aage se aisa nahiin karunga!!" he said guiltily making a puppy face.
"Mujhe kaun si badi cheez chaiye Dev. Kam se Kam ek flower le aate mere liye. Hum donon do din baad mil rahe hain aur tum ho ki....agggh chodo" Sonakshi spoke stomping her foot
"Accha baba Sorry....next time flower kya, badi si gift launga tumhaara liye, theek hai??" He plucked a rose from the adjacent bush and handed over to her. "Aur yeh lo....A rose for my rose" he said romantically
Sonakshi finally smiled and accepted it. "Thank you...aur next time kuch laane ki zaroorat nahiin hai. Main tumhe kahiin jaane hi nahiin dungi. Pata hai maine tumhe kitna miss kiya??" Sonakshi said cutely
"Accha baba...ab kahiin nahiin jaunga aur agar jaana bhi pada toh jaldi aa jaunga and I will always bring flowers for you. Ok?? Ab mujhe ek kiss toh de do" he winked
"What?? But this a public place....." words dried in her mouth as he captured his lips in his rough ones
END OF FLASHBACK
Dev's chain of thoughts were broken when the car halted near the florist. He stepped down the car and went inside the shop.
"Good morning Sir. Kaise flowers chahiye aapko??" the man in the shop asked
Dev spotted a nice bouquet of flowers kept on the display and said, "Yeh de do"
Just then, Sakshi visited the shop and asked one of the worker who was outside the shop "Excuse me...kya mera order tayyar hai?"
"Jee Madam...bilkul tayyar hai. Aap rukiye, main leke aata hun" and went inside the shop.
To his amazement, he saw the same bouquet of flowers in the hands of a man, who was none other than Dev.
"Arre...yeh flowers aapke paas?" he exclaimed
Sakshi heard him, and rushed into the shop to see who had the audacity to buy the bouquet, she had ordered.
"Kisne liye yeh flowers?" she asked angrily and looked towards Dev.
Dev too, looked in the direction of voice and his gaze met hers. His eyes widened in shock by looking at her. Same eyes, same face, same anger, same voice.....
Could she be his.......
"Sonakshi..." he whispered
