Later that day, we we're downstairs watching a movie. I couldn't stop thinking about Adym, and the pills he was taking. I hear him coming down the steps, my eyes focus on the stairs waiting for the boy to appear. He was shirtless. He walked into the kitchen. "I'm going to get something to drink, anyone want anything?" I said and stood up. No one said anything. I walked around the corner into the kitchen where the older boy was standing. I opened the fridge, but then shut it and turned to face Adym. I felt a pang in my chest at how flawless he looked, with his hair pushed back and a little stubble on his chin. He looked so good, my heart pounded in want. "You are something else" he murmured, I flinched as he stuck his hand out and gently ran it across my cheek. My breath caught in my throat, I didn't know what to say, I just knew I didn't want him to stop. But the minute I bit my lip and looked up at the older boy, he shot his hand back to his side and a frown appeared on his face. "What's wrong?" I asked quietly. He looked scared. "Why are you staring at me?" He growled, stepping back. "You were staring at me t-" I started but he interrupted. "Just finish what you were going to do and stop being creepy" he said. My heart shattered for what felt like the millionth time. I walked into the bathroom and sat with my back against the door. I felt a lump in my throat, tears were coming out. "Why am I crying over this boy. Why is he so confusing" I questioned myself. I bit my lip hardly until I tasted metallic, and I hear a knock on the door. I stood up and opened it, it was Adym. "Is your lip bleeding?" He looked shocked. I had to get out before i start crying again, I pushed past him and ran outside.
