Two

At around 9:30 pm, Christine and I started to get ready for the party. We both decided to leave our hair down in its natural state, my being straight and her natural loose curls.

The outfit I chose was a pair of light wash jean shorts and a maroon short sleeve velvet top with black and white old school vans. Christine decided on white shorts and a light blue blouse that hung off her shoulders, but also hugged them, and decided on light blue keds.

"Girl we look so good, and we can't tear down Blair just because she has the man I want." I say, as we both stand in front of her full length mirror.

"Agreed. Us girls need to stick together!" Christine exclaims, as we both laugh.

"Oh look, Lucy just texted me." Christine says, reaching for her phone.

She reads the text out loud, "Hey, I was wondering if you and Amelia could come over to help us set up for the party at around 10."

Lucy gave us her number in the parking lot before Xavier showed up,we gave her ours as well. Christine texts her back "Sure!" then Lucy texts us her address.

"OMG, it's 9:50 now! We should get going." I say, as we grab our bags and leave Christine's house, taking her car instead of mine. 

We make our way through the woods near the edge of our town, and pull up to a mansion, that has a black roof but the rest of the house was a light grey. Lucy told us to just park in the driveway when we got there.

Christine and I get out of her car, then walk up the steps to their two doored front door. I rang the doorbell as Christine texted Lucy that we were here. Soon the door opened up and the person behind it was not Lucy, but a boy I had never met before.

"What are you guys doing here early, Xavier said the party started at 11?" The boy questioned us.

"We are actually here to help set up for the party, Lucy asked us to come early." Christine explains.

"Aidan who's at the door?" I recognize the voice as Xavier, who was coming closer to us as he spoke.

I froze when I realized he was coming over to us, and Christine and I then shared a look. She goes onto her phones and texts Lucy again, knowing I wanted to get out of this situation as soon as possible.

When Xavier reaches the door he looks shocked to see Christine and I there, and even with Christine and Aidan, he did not hold back from staring intently at me.

Xavier looked hot to say the least, he has a dark green shirt on that brought out his green eyes, and a pair of light brown khaki pants on, the kind that skater boys wear.

"Hey Amelia..and Christine." He says, as he then pulls the door wider so we could step in.

"Aidan, go upstairs and tell Lucy that Amelia and Christine are here." Xavier orders Aidan, and he goes without a fight.

The inside of their house is filled with colorful paintings and furniture, not what you would expect from the outside of the house. They also must have speakers around the main floor, because you could easily hear a song playing.

"So Amelia, sorry about how Blair acted towards you in the hallway and then in ceramics, she doesn't hate you, I swear." Xavier says, as I continue to look anywhere but him.

It turned out that Xavier was in my ceramics class, and when he was talking to me at the sink, Blair came over and as I walked away, holding the mug I just finished making, she 'accidently' tripped me and I fell and broke the mug.

"Oh yeah, I'm sure she just loves me." I say sarcastically. I don't want to be mean to him, but ever since our two interactions today, Blair has seemed to put a new target on my back.
