Rain stepped into the bridge of the Yamato where all his crew were planning the attack.
Officer: Captain at the bridge!
Everyone looked up at Rain and saluted him with honour and respect to which he saluted back to everyone.
Rain: How far away are we?
1st officer: 30 minutes till the meeting point.
Rain: Good, any other ships spotted?
1st officer: None sir, seas been calm all night.
Rain: Guess their gathering all of them at the drop off point.
1st officer: We believe that too sir.
Rain: Alright everyone listen up, this is Yamato's first major mission. Stopping the Chinese convoy is our primary task and any supplies dropped from it is a secondary, i want everyone at their stations by 8:40am ready to begin the operation do I make myself clear?
Everyone: Yes sir.
*Kyoto beach, 8:35am (The meeting point.)*
A group of scouts stared out into the sea for signs of the convoy while troops prepared the horses and carriages for transporting everything over.
Scout: Convoy spotted, 10 minutes until arrival.
Gordon: Good, prepare the horses for transport we need to get these supplies to Kyoto as soon as possible.
Troop commander: Yes sir.
Vex: Gordon, please no need to rush.
Gordon: Vex, lady Yuuki must of seen something if she sent three of her best commanders and a lot of troops.
Ghost: Gordon, it's just a supply drop that's it.
Gordon: Still she sent are most advanced ships to protect and sent 3 of us instead of just 1.
Vex: True, Something doesn't feel right.
Scout: Huge object spotted, north-west!
The three commanders rushed to the scout point to look at the object.
Ghost: What is that?
Vex: A monster?
Gordon: Doesn't remind me of one.
Troop commander: Sir, the object is heading for the convoy!
Ghost: It's an attack!
Gordon: Prepare the archers and catapults!
*Sea of Japan, Yamato 8:44am*
Valkyrie: Target in sight sir.
Rain stepped to the speaker and began speaking.
Rain: Battle stations everyone, this not a drill i repeat this not a drill the operation has begun!
Everyone ran to their stations and shouting was heard all across the ship.
1st officer: orders sir.
Rain: Turn 90 degrees left, All 3 main guns 90 degrees to the right and elevation 35 degrees!
the 1st officer began turning the Yamato left until she was fully pointing away from the coast.
Gun officer: You heard the captain, Guns 90 degrees right and elevation 35 degrees.
