Story #1 The Girl who lives in the pool

My brother and I were playing hide and seek around our neighbor's yard. The yard was huge with different trees and bushes which is perfect for a game of hiding seek. I hurried ran and look around the yard for a place to hide. I spot a huge tree by the garden and hid behind it, standing tall like a stiff statue. In my mind, i knew it wasn't the best hiding spot because just as i was about to peek, my brother spotted me from a distance. He is literally the best seeker that i know or maybe he didn't close his eyes while he was counting to 10.

Now it was my turn to be the seeker. After counting to 10, I looked and looked around the yard for him. There is one thing that i know about my brother is that whenever we play hide and seek, he always finds the worst spot in the yard like last year for his birthday, I spotted him hiding inside the neighbor's chimney. He was lucky that our neighbor didn't light the fireplace. I looked around the garden and find no sign of him. I look around the pool area and still find no sign of my brother. I sat by the pool, wiping the sweat off my forehead and hands because i lost my brother, again. But then suddenly, a little boy popped out of the water and laughed childishly. I was very mad but mostly relieved because my brother was found safe and sound.

''Swim with me brother'' he said as he swam across the pool towards me. I refused his offer because i was exhausted from looking around the yard for him. As i sat by the tree next to pool, i heard him screaming in pain. I ignored him for a minute until i realize he caught a cramp on his leg. I ran inside the house and grab my swimming trunks and a first-aid kit. I hurried back to the pool and spot nothing but the water toys that were floating in the pool. Again I ran back inside the house and dialed my mother's number on my phone. As i peeked through the window with my phone closed to my ear, my eyes widen in shocked and my hand with my phone shaking in fear because the pool suddenly turned red like blood and a female head peeped out in the pool, watching me.
