Chapter 1

All Taehyung could feel was the pain that shot through his numb body. His back burned as if it was on fire and his limbs felt weak; tired. He couldn't open his eyes, he could only groan in an awful, distorted growl. The world was dark, almost as if the world never existed in the first place. Taehyung could feel his body arch as he tried to twist around, but, he knew he didn't move far.

Sounds; unfamiliar sounds. They filled his ears and he felt himself flinch as a twig snapped somewhere alongside him. Another snap rang almost immediately after, only now it was closer. His eyes quickly sprung open and he sat up. He was now surrounded by a forest full of oddly colored blue and reddish trees. The soft grass under him sparkled a dark purple and the sky was colored a bright lime. A neon world it was, the universe all messed up and magical.

Taehyung felt his breathing pick up from panic, his eyes wandering everywhere. Birds flew past, they were thankfully the way he remembered them. He sighed. If he was forced to see another unusual phenomenon, Taehyung would have burst into a full-on craze.

"Hello there!" Jumping at the sound of a voice beside him, he turned towards the sudden, slightly deep voice. Immediately, he came face to face with a man. His eyes widened, however, once his sight landed on the man's head. Sprouting out from the strangers bright lilac hair was a pair of long bunny ears. He sat there in awe as the creature crawled closer. "What's your name?"

The shock of it all began to overcome him and he could feel his mind racing. It was a lot to take in all at once, Taehyung was sure he was high off of something. " My name is Taehyung." He was surprised, bewildered, but his voice for some reason stayed relatively calm. Taehyung could feel his heart pounding in his head and his back ached terribly still. However, he tried to at least stay reasonably neutral.

"You must be the new fairy!" The unknown hybrid stood up, his cheeks dusted with a hint of rose. "I'm Jeon Jungkook! One of the field bunnies!" Taehyung tilted his head in confusion. But, once Jungkook pointed towards his back, he shrieked when he glanced where Jungkook had pointed too.

A beautiful, shining set of light brown wings stuck out from his back. They were glossy and they were shaped like spikes but they were thin and flowing. Curls hanging from the end of each secondary wing flew from the slight breeze and twirled around. Taehyung looked down at himself. He was now dressed down in a mud-green sweatshirt and dark ripped skinny jeans. This was all incredibly new to him, this atmosphere was all strange. He didn't feel right.

Taehyung gazed back at this said Jungkook. The male was wearing a gray sweater and black ripped leggings. Light freckles dotted his cheeks and his face was flushed with a red hue. His hair was a wonderful, light lilac and his ears were smooth with slight fluffy fur sticking out. The hybrid's eyes matched with his hair, they were a brilliant hazel that blended into a light pink at the bottom. Taehyung was memorized by the other male's characteristics and he sat frozen in place from the sight.

"Are you...okay?" Jungkook leaned forward so he was almost hovering over the other. Taehyung flinched, quickly shuffling to stand up in a frenzy.

The new presence set him off guard and his mind was bustling; not good at all for new faces with unhuman-like features. The wings felt light on his back and he felt the wind brush against them. His senses were sharp and they were tingling under the small gushes of air. Taehyung dusted off his pants and fixed his sweatshirt.

"What the hell is happening?" Taehyung suddenly shouted out.

Jungkook backed up, shocked. "Well—Umm. You—you're the new Earth fairy that-that was just a-assigned to the realm." The bunny hybrid began to shake slightly, eyes tearing up. "I—I don't know anything else. I'm sorry!" In a blink of an eye, the bunny dropped to the ground and bowed, head hidden in the back of his hands.
