It was a hazy morning, the sun hidden behind clouds and the air crisp with a summer breeze. Taehyung was walking down the hall to the dining room, hands stuffed in his jean pockets. With many turns and tries, he made it to the table fairly quickly. The room was huge and the table could fit more than forty people. Only a few seats were taken, as there seemed to only be a few servants and other fairies and hybrids in the castle.

Jungkook, Seokjin, and Namjoon were all there, happily chatting away. There was a new face as well, who Taehyung didn't recognize yet. "Taehyung!" Jungkook shouted. The bunny was bouncing in his seat, waving him over. Taehyung sat next to him silently.

"Good morning, Taehyung." Seokjin smiled. Bags under his light brown eyes were visible and dark this early morning. Clearly, he pulled more than few all-nighters in the past several days. It was impressive on how energetic Seokjin stayed even though he was clearly exhausted.

"Morning." Taehyung knew he should have been using a more formal greeting, especially since they are apart of a higher class, but, he kept it simple thanks to Namjoon's say from before.

"We have a few meetings tonight, the Bonding is in a few months and a celebratory banquet needs to be held soon for the new arrival of the village's new Earth fairy." Seokjin was reading off of a list in his book, recording all of the things that needed to be done. "Everyone is outrageously enthusiastic for the new revealing, surprisingly."

"Wait, a celebratory banquet?" Taehyung piped in. "For me?"

Namjoon turned towards him, smiling so widely. "Yes! We must have an astonishing ball just for you. It's tradition, every elemental fairy assigned here has all had one." Namjoon took a sip of his tea. "Now, it's your turn."

"Is it just like...a typical dance?"

"It's a ball; a banquet. Full of all your favorite foods and drinks. Also, you will have your choice of the first dance! That's when you decide on a fellow young maiden to dance beside you." Taehyung looked down at his plate, no longer saying a word. Jungkook just looked at him in reticence.

"It'll be fun! Trust me, all of the other fairies have loved it!" Jungkook smiled towards Taehyung, trying to cheer the other up. Taehyung could only grin somewhat back as a reply.

"Have you guys forgotten about me? Am I really that easy to miss?" Suddenly, a fairy beside Seokjin spoke up.

"Don't worry, we didn't forget about you," Seokjin chuckled. "No one could ever forget you." The stranger in front of him had beautiful flaming red-orange wings that spiked out. The fairy, clearly a male, had short hair that shone a fiery orange and his clothing choice was a simple plain red t-shirt and navy jeans.

"Taehyung, this is our Fire elemental fairy here in the castle, Jung Hoseok." Namjoon gestured to the said fairy, Hoseok, laughing to himself softly.

"Hello! Nice to meet you!" Hoseok beamed, leaning over the table, his stomach flat against the surface. He held out his hand, a bright, wide smile taking over his face.

Taehyung cautiously accepted it, shaking the other fairy's hand. "Nice to meet you too," he mumbled.

"You nervous?" Hoseok leaned back in his chair. "Don't worry, I was too. But, this place is nice, honestly!"

Taehyung was then briefly told about the maids and introduced to a few of the maidens. They blushed to themselves as they bowed to him, Taehyung shifted in his chair, awkwardly smiling back. The table then went quiet. They all ate breakfast in a slow but calm, quiet manner. There was no speaking, the only sound being the clinking of silverware against plates.

After some time, when they had all finished eating, the maids and servants appeared to take their plates. A hybrid maid with long ears and feathered wings came up to him and asked politely for his plate. Taehyung quickly handed it to her, eyes focused away from the Phoenix. "Taehyung, there is something important for you today!" Namjoon suddenly addressed.
