Charlottes pov

I smiled laughing slightly at the bright girl next to me. She laughed, her chestnut eyes lighting up as she retells a funny tale from earlier that day. As we walked I couldn't help but take in her presence. Her hair was platinum blonde at her roots then faded into blue tips, Her smiles was wide and framed her perfect teeth. And the way her laugh made my stomach do backflips. I was snapped out of my trance by a sudden heat on my hand. I realized that she had taken my hand in hers. I looked up at her, her face growing bright red.
"Is this okay?"
I wanted to say yes I wanted nothing more than to pull her close but...
"I don't know.." I looked down at the ground pulling my hand from hers.
"Skylar this isn't because you did something wrong, this doesn't mean I don't like  you, were outside and I'm not..." my voice faded out as I memory flashed before my eyes.

I run upstairs after Jacky as I hear her slam the door. I started knocking on the door. "Jacky... please open up." I wait a second and I start to hear her approach the door. She opens the door and suddenly pulls me in and slams the door in one swift moment. "Why?!" The words choked out of her. Her hands were clenched at her sides her knuckles white. "Why won't you hold my hand!" My throat suddenly got tight. "We were outside and...." my voice grew quiet and my voice cut off.  "Are you ashamed to be scene with me!? Huh is that the problem because I can just leave!" I started to feel my chest tighten. "No you know I love you!" She looked up at me fire in her eyes. "Then why! If you really loved me you would be out by now!" My whole word stopped. "No... I do love you I'm just not ready..." her face seemed red. "No that's it, if you don't come out now then we're done." My heart shattered as I tried to catch my tears. "Please.... Jacky don't do this." After a long heavy pause she looked back at the ground turning to the door. "I guess this is goodbye then, it was fun while it lasted." I watched her feet as she left. The door shut and I sat in silence before a choked sob broke it. "Please Jacky"
