"I'm sorry, what?" My mouth had suddenly become very dry, as I unintentionally licked my lips. The Prince's eyes jolted down to my lips, his eyes almost seeming to appear a darker shade, before it was gone in seconds.

"May I talk to you for a second Nessa?" The Prince asked again, now smirking. Ugh, I just want to slap that grin off his face. Ignoring my incorrigible thoughts, I nodded my head. Why did the prince want to talk to me? Was he going to finally kick me out of the competition? I abruptly stood up, my feet slightly attaching to the bottoms of my dress, causing me to slightly trip. My graceless behavior was drawing the attention of more people.

"Excuse me, your highness," Caroline batted her eyelashes, "But may I ask where you're taking.....my friend?" Caroline asked, appearing as though she was innocent. I scrunched up my face at her white lie.

"Nowhere important. Now please, enjoy your meal," The Prince bowed, gently placing his hand onto my back. Caroline hissed at me as soon as the Prince's back was turned away. Tingles ran up and down my spine as we trotted towards a fountain not too far from the lunch patio.

"So Prince Rikie, what'd ya need me for? I was very much enjoying my meal, and I'm anxious to get back to my calamari," I said, placing my hands on my hips. Prince Erik laughed loudly, shaking his head.

"Of course Nessa," He cleared his throat. "It would do me the pleasure if you would join me for a walk in the gardens tomorrow afternoon," He smiled.

"So.....like a date?"

"Precisely."

"Look Princie, I don't know if choosing me is the best option. There are plenty of other richie, well-mannered young ladies sitting at those tables right now," I argued, raising my eyebrow. "And sooner or later I'm going to be eliminated from this competi-"

"Who said I was going to eliminate you from the competition so soon?" He smirked. I rolled my eyes.

"Oh please. I'm far from a Lady, plus, Lady Dorothy hates my guts. I can almost guarantee she will do everything in her power to get rid of me," I shrugged.

"Well, I'll make sure that doesn't happen. Just please accompany me tomorrow Nessa. For some reason, I feel comfortable around you. You seem different from the other girls, so having you as my first date may somewhat calm my nerves," The Prince begged.

"I don't know.."

"Pleaseeeee," He got down on his knees, giving me the sad puppy eyes. I groaned.

"Don't make me regret this Prince Rikie," I muttered, loud enough for him to hear. He sprung up, a wide smile plastered on his face.

"Thank you Nessa. Trust me, you won't regret it," He exclaimed, taking my hands into his. "And might I add, you look exceptionally beautiful in that gown," He scanned me up and down.

"Yah, yah. Whatever princie," I flipped my hair, walking back towards the lunch patio. I couldn't help the smile creeping onto my face as I heard him yell in excitement behind me.

I slipped back into my seat, already snatching my calamari from my plate.

"Hey, farmer girl!" I turned my head, glancing at Caroline who had two girls standing behind her. One of them was a gorgeous asian girl who had mid-length black hair. She had perfect muscle toning, and a long black gown that showed off her well fit figure. I could already tell by the way she held herself, that she was from the modeling district. The other girl had knee length sandy brown hair; which had been braided for the occasion. She had a super tight body con dress on, practically exposing her breasts and butt. She too had a face full of makeup.

"What did you and the Prince talk about? Did he finally take you out of the competition? A little farmer girl like you wouldn't have lasted long anyway," Caroline quipped, her friends grinning along with her.

"Actually. If you must know," I straightened my posture. "The Prince actually asked me out for his first date. But it's probably not that important," I sarcastically shrugged. Caroline's mouth widened, her face turning a puce color. Alicia approached me, shocked at my comment too.

"No way that can be true. You're probably just lying to try and ruin my chance with the prince. A stupid farmer girl like you-," Caroline hissed, her nails digging into the table. Daniela and Mari were now both standing behind me, seemingly ready to defend me.

"Hey Nessa!" A voice called out. I snapped my head towards the voice's direction, only to find that it was the prince. I raised my eyebrow. "Don't be late tomorrow," He smiled, now walking into the castle. I nodded before smirking back at Caroline.

"Does that answer your question darling," I asked, standing up from my seat and sending her a wink. Caroline growled and walked away, the two other girls trailing behind her; purposely swaying their hips.

"Congratulations on becoming the Prince's first date chica," Daniela smiled, patting my shoulder. "Though, I'm not going to let you steal prince that easily," She giggled.

"Same here!" Alicia uttered from behind her book, in which she was now reading again.

"Trust me. You can have him," I rolled my eyes.

"Do you guys want to head to the women's room?" Mari questioned, toying with tendrils of her boy cut hair. "I'm getting tired of acting proper. I just want to go to the women's rooms so I can slouch and eat junk food," She confessed. We broke out into laughter and headed to the women's room.
