Eliza never found herself to be the one eager for a big change. She was always content on what she had, and wasn't a huge fan of changes. Well, that was until her hair dresser offered something on the table.Of course, Eliza declined at first, but when she kept talking and explained what it would do for her...she said yes. So, here Eliza was, sitting at her apartment. She couldn't stop touching her hair. A soft frown on her lips every time she missed her hair by a few inches. She was so used to her long hair, but now it was gone.
She had gone with a bob. Her hair in tiny waves and framing her face. Eliza had to agree, it did fit her face well. It showed off her best features. Her cheekbones were sharp, and very present than before.
Eliza sighed, running her hand through her short hair once more. "What did I do?" She mumbled to herself. She was really starting to regret this.
"Eliza? You here?"
Eliza's ears perked up as she heard the familiar voice she fell in love with. A huge grin appeared on her face as the door closed.
"Eliza? Where are you-"
Eliza met eyes with her boyfriend, who in fact was staring at her. Alexander stood there in shock, not staring in her eyes, which were goddamn beautiful, but the dark strands of hair that were surrounding her face.
"Alex? You okay?" She said softly, moving forwards him slowly.
Alex somehow managed to nod as Eliza stood in front of him. His hands found their way to her hair, twirling a short strand between his fingers.
"You cut your hair." He stated, his eyes wide.
Eliza nodded. Suddenly, she became very nervous. She thought for sure he would like it. Was she wrong? "Do you like it?" She asked nervously.
It was only when Alex let out a chuckle and a huge grin, she knew she made the right choice. "I love it," he said proudly, "it suits you."
Eliza grinned up at him. Quickly, she stood on her tiptoes to give him a quick kiss on the lips. Though, Alex did not like that idea. He, instead, wrapped her arms around her waist, locking her in place.
"It's kinda hot, actually." He murmured against his lips.
Eliza gasped as his lips trailed down to her neck. "Alex, are you telling me that my hair is turning you on?" She tease.
Alex blushed a deep red, pulling away, but his arms not budging. "Hey, if I got my hair cut, you would be too." He shot back.
Eliza laughed. "Yeah, okay." She said, rolling her eyes.
Alexander smirked at her, pulling her closer. "Bet." He whispered before kissing her hard.
It had been three weeks since Eliza got her haircut. Alex grinned to himself as he opened the apartment door. He too had made a big change. His one long messy hair was now to a short cut. Boy, was eliza in for a treat.
Seeing as he wanted to prove her wrong, he sat at the kitchen counter, casually reading and doing his work.
Eliza, who had just came home, walked out of their bedroom. She walked past him to make coffee, not even noticing his brand new change.
"Eliza, will you go grab my computer from my office?" He murmured, a small smile on his lips as he kept his head down.
Eliza groaned softly at him. Her back was still to him. "Why can't you do it?" She whined.
Alex let out a chuckle. "Please?"
Eliza sighed, "Alex, I swear to god, if you don't-"
Alex raised his head at her direction, his eyebrows raised expectantly at her. Eliza found herself staring at Alex, her eyes darker than usual as she took in the man before her.
"Eliza?" He said, a smirk on his lips.
Eliza shook her head, shaking herself out of the trance. "Y-Yeah, I'll go get it." She murmured softly, her voice dropped a couple levels lower.
Alex grinned as he watched her swiftly go grab the computer. Maybe he did win, and is also going to prove her wrong.
Eliza made her way back to the kitchen, setting the device down next to him. God, he looked so good with his hair like that. Eliza bit her lower lip as he ran a hand through his hair.
"You okay?" He asked, his eyebrows raised at her.
Eliza scowled at him as she saw the beginning of a grin on his lips. "Fine." She shot back, turning around to finish the coffee she started.
"If you say so." Alex trailed off.
Eliza took a deep breath as she closed her eyes. She will not prove him right. She's fine. His hair is not affecting her in any way. She is not aroused. She will not lose. She will not give up.
But then she looked at him again, her pupils dilated. "Oh fuck." She mumbled.
Deciding to forget the coffee, she made her way around the kitchen counter. Standing next to him, she pushed away his laptop and work.
"Eliza?" He said, confused. Though his eyes showed his true feeling, knowing on what was happening.
"I just," she mumbled. Eliza took him by his shirt and pulled him into her, "need to."
With that, she smashed her lips onto his, putting one hand in his newly cut hair. Alexander did not seem to be too taken back, instead he pulled her more into him and eagerly responded.
Afterwards, they laid sweaty together on the couch. Eliza's head resting on his chest, listening to his heart beat as she panted heavily.
"Well," Alexander spoke up, breaking the silence between them, "that was unexpected."
Eliza bit her lower lip, not daring to agree with him. Instead, she nodded against his chest.
"I've never seen you so," Alex paused, a smile on his lips, "aggressive."
Eliza flushed a deep red. She debated cursing him out, instead she settled for a light slap to his chest.
Alexander smirked, letting out a chuckle as he saw Eliza flush in embarrassment.
"Oh," Alex piped up, "I forgot to ask you."
"What?" She mumbled, snuggling into his arms more.
"Do you like my haircut?"
"I swear to god, Alex. I will throw you out of the window."
