Summer break is over and it's been 2 months since school has started. School is going well and just what Primrose could have wished for had started in school. An art club.
The art club was divided into groups. Singing, acting, fine arts, music, literature and photography. Primrose was the happiest person because at her school, Edenfield High, nothing would happen. Just one annual play, and a talent show. They also have prom but Primrose isn't allowed to go. The boys at home were allowed to do almost everything but the girls, they felt like they were locked up in a cage.
The first class was on a cold afternoon on a Monday and a lot of students from her grade were present there. Most of them aren't even going to be here after a few classes, lousy "exam" excuses, she smiled at her thought.
Only one of her friends from a group of 4, excluding Primrose, was accompanying her. Alli Grace was her name. 5'4, brunette, light-skinned with a skinny body, who had attended the club for Fine Arts. She was pretty and Primrose was jealous of her. Alli could get almost every guy that she wanted and has dated about 4 so far and she's only 17. However, Primrose didn't allow this jealousy to get between her friendship as Alli was one of her closest friends.
Primrose looked around the room and noticed that quite a lot of people in the large room were not from her school, and some of which were really young. She scanned the room for boys, for some attention, hunger for love in her eyes. No one. No one was looking back. Barely noticed, she sank into her chair with her hands covering her face thinking about how long this will last.
