Christina pov"Keep chopping honey we need to get this done before the ceremony today i-i hope you dont chose to leave us for a different group r-right Christina." i stopped chopping the vegetable my mom handed me and looked up at her.
"i-i dont know mom we have to see what the test says before hand you know it's not my decision at first." my mother nodded as tears streamed down her face i stared at her blankly because my mom haven't cried before about these situations i walked up to her pulling her into a hug.
"i love you mother i... this world just has gone to shit." my mother giggled and hit me slightly for my bad use of language.
"How about you go fetch your brother and father from outside and then they can wash the vegetables you just chopped." i hugged my mother one more time and headed out to the back to get my brother and father.
"Sir...mother would like you to come inside and wash the vegetables for dinner if that isn't what you like i can do them f-." my father chuckled and patted my head messing up my hair walking inside as my brother was writing in his journal.
"Hey mom seemed really upset about me leaving she probably feels the same with you braden a-are you going to leave for a different group." My brother sighed and looked at me with sad eyes and gave the most cold answer. "yes i would leave the poorest and unsuccessful group but then you get a chance to leave i will take that." and with that he got up and left and i got up and went to the dinner table and we sat and ate with silence.
