Chapter 1 -- The Bully

Arim's POV

Trainee Days

I walked back up the stairs to the dorm, crying. I looked down at my training attire. Coffee stains. And this was my last set of clean clothes. Again. Chanmi has did it again. I just don't get it, why does she hate me so much. I never did anything to her, well, maybe except take her 'supposed' spot in the yg pre-debut team. But it wasn't my idea, yg just put me in, just like that. So how's it my fault.

Yeap, that was the original debut team list. They were all preparing at the very best for debut when me, yeonjyu and kangjyu first joined. Then YG resuffled the list.

Flashback

"Sir, the other have been complaining that Chanmi has been bullying Natty and the younger members again."

"(Sighs) Look, Chanmi's father owns a large clothing company in America. That's why we can't do anything."

"But sir, the members..."

"Forget that, anyway, for the debut team, I'm planning to add that new girl. The one from Malaysia. Choi Yeon whatever her full name is. We need another vocalist"

"What about Chanmi? And the other members?"

"That's what i wanted to discuss woth you about. I'm planning to swap out youngbin with that new girl's brother, Choi Kangjyu. Youngbin's rapping has improved, but Kangjyu is like he was born for rapping. His rapping is full of charisma. And his looks are a bonus. Youngbin's rapping has technique, but it's rather... dull."

"Then what about the other girl. The one from LA. Lee Arim? She's pretty good too. And has visuals! She can be your Ace, sir! How about swapping Chanmi out for her?"

"Are you kidding?! Her dad-"

"Sir, I understand your concern. But I think Lee Arim is the total package. She got in by talent. Chanmi got in by bribery, and you know it yourself, sir, Chanmi isn't actually a real trainee, you're just doing it to deal with her dad! And it's not fair to other more worthy trainees like Arim!"

End of flashback

I walked the stairs to the dorm, crying. Yeonjyu and Somi were already in the dorms.

Shit. Why are they back so early?

I hastily wiped away my tears and put on a smile as i walked towards them.

"Hey guys!"

And of course Yeonjyu was the happiest to see me, as always. (smiles, proud sister here 😇)

"UNNIEEEEEE!!!" she screamed as she ran to me.

"Hi Arim unnie." Somi said, cheerfully as she ran towards.

"Yah, somi unnie, shouldn't it be noona?" Yeonjyu smirked, teasing Somi.

"Ishh, Chloe, we talked about this. I'm not a boyyy!!" Somi flicked Yeonjyu's forehead. Yeonjyu stuck her tongue out at her.

Kids.

I smiled, at least they don't have to worry about being bullied. I mean like, they're pretty girls right? With big brothers to protect them. Me pretty? Nahh. Brother? Well, let's not talk about my brother. (a/n: who am i kidding, arim is like the most prettieat and fab person ever, come fight me if yall think otherwise.)

I suddenly felt a burning sensation in my eyes. I love them. They're my best friends, but sometimes when i hang out with them I feel like trash. I quickly brushed it off by changing the subject.

"So, where's Herin?" i asked.

"Oh, Herin unnie went to the recording studio. She--" Somi stopped, staring at me closely.

"Unnie, have you been crying?"

"Unnie what happened?" Yeonjyu asked concerned.

"Omo, unnie, and your clothes. Coffee stains?!" Somi

"Nothing, really." I quickly rubbed my forming tears off with my sleeve.

"It was Chanmi again, wasn't it? Urghhh, that bitch!" Yeonjyu yelled angrily.

Just then, Somi nudged her with her elbow. She gave her a look, as if telling her to shut up.

I turned around.

And saw a plastic barbie sashaying towards us.

We heard her say.

"Omo, is the loser crying to her mummies again?"
