The Village’s Three

There are three little children in the village

The one dreams the farthest,

The other smiles the brightest,

And the last one was the wisest of them all.

The first one would sit in one corner,

Dreaming every ounce, even a quarter.

He would think for his own future,

Even though not one can be sure.

The child was full of hope and love that were shining.

One day all of his dreams were found sinking.

As his home had told him that breaks his heart,

That there’s only route that won’t pierce like a dart.

There are three little children in the village

The one dreamt the farthest,

The other smiles the brightest,

And the last one was the wisest of them all.

The second one would be skipping down the road.

All the times he was seen, his smile showed.

Every time a person comes to play,

He would let them do it on their own way.

The little child was a very happy child.

Until his home forbid him to be wild.

He was locked in their own little house,

Trapped and never to go like a field’s mouse.

There are three little children in the village

The one dreamt the farthest,

The other smiled the brightest,

And the last one was the wisest of them all.

The last child was the one who says it all.

Every time he speaks, there was awe.

Everyone’s problem is his call.

His words had never been a single flaw.

Until then, his home had never heard him.

They all say he was rude and shunned him.

Like every fact he says was the wrong,

And that is how I made the village’s song.

There were three little children in the village

The one dreamt the farthest,

The other smiled the brightest,

And the last one was the wisest of them all.

Three little children who grew up with regret,

Three little children whose life they can’t reset.

To those whom held them back just had to forget,

That they owe these three a very huge debt…

This is the story of Halwende, Tristan and Travisity,

Three young boys who wanted to be free.

But too many people can’t even see,

That those three children represent me.
