I was walking next to Toshiro as he was showing me all the squads and their Captains. One captain that I disliked was Mayuri Kurotsuchi. He was so creepy and never stopped talking about disgusting experiments! Luckily I was saved when Toshiro told me we had to move on.

Another captain that I met was Shunsui Kyōraku. He was very sweet but also a perv. He falls in love with any girl and is lazy all the time. He just laid down on the roof the whole time. then we were back to walking again.

I looked over at Toshiro and saw that he has a sword on his back and I get a curious question in my head.

"Hey Toshiro?" I ask while looking at him.

"Its Captain Hitsugaya and what do you want?" He responds and looks at me.

"How did you get your zanpuktu?" His eyes widen a little at my question.

"I don't like to talk about that but I can tell you my Zanpukto's name."

"Zanpukto's name?" I tilt my head confused.

"Every Zanpuktos has a name. It's how you call upon its power when you are battling against a strong enemy." He says and I hear in his voice that he kind of likes this topic.

"Oh I see. So what is your zanpukto's name?"

"It's name is Hyōrinmaru." He says pointing his thumb back to his sword.

"Wow....that's a really cool name" My eyes widen in amazement. "I can't wait to get my Zanpukto!" I smile.

"Thanks" He smirks at my comment. "I wouldn't be too excited. They are sometimes unpredictable."

"We'll the soul King said I would be getting my Zanpukto today."

"In form me when you do." He nods. " I have to go finish paperwork. I'll be over there." he points towards the squad ten captain office.

I nod "Alright shorty." I sprint off giggling as I hear him yelling down the hallway.

"I'm not Short!"

-3 hours later-

I laid down on my bed bored. Since I was new I didn't belong to a squad yet but I was staying in Squad ten's headquarters. it was SOOO boring. I got up and walked over to the door and before I could touch the doorknob the door opened and hit my face.

"Ow! Ow! Ow!" I held my forehead.

"Sorry Kira!" Someone said and I looked up to see a tall women with orange hair and a big bust standing in front of me.

"Who are you?!" I stare at the girl.

She pats the top of my head. "Aww! Your short just like Toshiro!"

"Don't call me that!" I get irratated and she laughs.

"Oh my, and the same attitude too!"

I put on a fake smile "Well I have to go to bed so I will talk to you later. Bye!" I shut the door before she can say anything. "That girl was rude.." I mutter to myself. I let my dark purple hair down and it falls down against my thighs. I walk over to my futon and lay down getting comfortable.

"This was a crazy day" I think to myself and close my eyes hoping I might forget about today. About Soul Society and everyone in it. Slowly I drift to sleep.

The world is black with a small blueish purple flame in the middle. I look around.

"What is this place?" I say under my breath.

"Hello Kira.." a strange voice says and I look around trying to find out who said my name.

"W-Who's there?" I say as I walk towards the flame.

"You don't know me?" The voice says with a sad tone.

"Well duh! Why would I be asking?" I respond back a little irritated.

The voice laughs and I turn around to see a tall boy stand behind me. He has short purple hair with blue eyes. his outfit is a purple shirt with a black vest over it and black pants. He almost looks like a royal with a special crest on his vest.

"My name is Adeland, I'm your Zanpukto." He smiles down at me.

My eyes widen. "Adeland...."

His face seems to light up even more. "Yay! You finally said my name!"

"This must be a dream" I say out loud.

He shakes his head. "Nope! It's your inner world."

"My inner world? What is that?" I am so confused my head is spinning in all directions.

He laughs lightly, "Your inner world is where you meet me, your zanpukto. Only you can visit me in this place."

I look around "I didn't know my inner world would be so dark..."

"I know right? it's kind of depressing. I guess it's that way since you have no memories." he looks around frowning.

"Hey! That wasn't very nice" I look at him aggravated and he laughs at me.

"My apologies. Well anyway since you know my name I think you at least deserve to have me as your zanpukto. You have a lot of potential and very cute!" He smiles. "I hope we become a strong team!"

My eyes widen as he called me cute and me cheeks warm up a little. "So your my sword then?" I ask trying to push away his comment.

"Mmhm!" He gives me a thumbs up. Then he grabs my hand and shakes it. "We will now work as a team. Just practice gaining strength with my power and believe in me ok?" he looks at me and smiles.

I smile back and nod my head. "Deal!"

"We'll see ya here again! Bye!" He starts to run off and waves.

"Um ok. Bye!" That was weird. I thought to myself. all of a sudden I was looking up at the ceiling and I sit up. I feel something in my hand and I look at it. I see a small kantana sword lay next to me with blue and purple on the handle and a purple cloth that forms a big loop at the end just like Toshiro's.

"So this is my zanpukto huh?" I smile to myself. I put the sword on my back with the purple cloth wrapped around me from my left shoulder around my right hip. I smile and stand up.

"I need to inform Toshiro right away." I say and rush out of my room towards Toshiro's room. I can't wait to start training with my zanpukto I think to myself while walking through the halls smiling.
