Addiction ( Shinichi Kudo x Reader )

Chapter 2

The surrounding was too noisy. Haru throat was choking. Her craving had started to kick in but she still could manage herself from being crazy. The eye smile never left her face all along her date with Shinichi. She must fake the feeling she felt inside her heart or she might lost Shinichi. Who could east her crave when she was schooling other than him?

How much Haru regretted to agree in going a date with her boyfriend . Nothing amused her here. She more preferred to stay inside her home and drown herself in her bloody bath up than spending her time at this theme park, holding hand together with Shinichi.

By now, Haru body was covered in cold sweat. Her body was shaking. She needed it at this time. If she did not take a quick step, she might even fainted. Blood just has been a part in her life for a long time.

"Shinichi, may I go to the toilet for a while?" At first, Shinichi was reluctant to let her warmth went away from him. It was hard for them to use their time together as Shinichi always busy with football while Haru most of the time being in the infirmary. The only time they were together was when Shinichi needed to treat his wound but not as one. "I'll be waiting for you here".

Haru nodded her head and sprinted towards her life saver. When she arrived at the toilet, she checked if anyone was there before taking out the knife that she has kept with her all the time. A sincere smile finally formed on her lip as she cut her wrist. Blood was pouring out and Haru stared in awe. She brought her wrist closer to her nose and smelt it. Slowly her nose was filled with a metallic smell.

Haru crave slowly went away and she was left with satisfaction. She washed her wrist with water and put a plaster on it in attempt to hide her wound. Her crave should be a secret from everyone, especially her detective boyfriend.

She stepped out from the toilet and immediately saw Shinichi who was waiting for her under the sun ray with two ice cream in his hand. Shinichi handed it to his girlfriend and Haru did not think twice about taking it as chocolate ice cream was her favourite. 

"Thank you" Her voice came out too high than she meant to as she could not contain her excitement in. She licked the ice cream and savoured the sweet flavor inside her mouth. 

Shinichi just kept on watching Haru eating her ice cream without touching his own. Shinichi eyes had a glint of sadness in them as he saw Haru wrist. Instead of asking about what had happened, Shinichi just being silent, not bother to build up some conversation. He just kept on staring and staring at his girlfriend like he was trying to solve a puzzle in his mind.

When all of the ice cream vanished into Haru stomach, she finally aware of the attention she got from her boyfriend. She gave a question look but his boyfriend responded it with a smile, leaving the latter in clueless state. Then, she stared at the melting ice cream on his hand. 

As like he knew what was coming, with a light chuckle, Shinichi passed his ice cream to Haru. " You can take mine"

"How about you? Do you not going to eat any of it?" Shinichi suddenly closed the gap between them. His thumb brushed against Haru's lip gently.

"I will if it is from your lip" Shinichi said and licked his thumb. Haru was shocked. Her heart was pounding in a quick pace. He really not a fun guy. This was new to Haru. She only met the shy Shinichi and never this one.
