Addiction ( Shinichi Kudo x Reader )

Chapter 3

The amount of regret for coming to a date slowly decrease in her heart as she loosely held Shinichi's hand in hers. His ice cream that was specially given to her had long been gone, being thrown into a thrash on her way back home. She did not feel lighten to eat something that his had the authority over it. The latter could just smile in melancholy upon her action which made him feel the existence of agony.

Haru foot steps pace was deliberately slow down in order to put more gaps between her and Shinichi. By then, she did not even want to see his face up from up close. Not because of hatred, contempt or enmity. Rather more to the feeling of bewilderment that over taken her. Although, their relationship had been developed for a quite some times but the two never shared any lustful thought and even action. They hugged before and it was just that how their relationship was.

Furthermore, Haru never really tended to muse about attaching herself with her current boyfriend. Everything would be harder if that particular event taken place in her life. She would no way fall in love with him. Not at all! 

Feeling relieved as Haru had arrived at the gate of her house after silence walks. She enthusiastically freed her hand from Shinichi's tight hold and without even turning back and saying some sweet talks of good bye. She leaved his side and closed the door rapidly. Ignoring someone was not that hard as she was a master of it and yet was it relevant to doing so?

Shinichi too, walked back to his own house as seeing his girlfriend had safely went inside the door. As long as her condition was fine, he never had bold enough to demand for more. That was just a wish that he felt too greedy to ask.

Haru's face was covered with tomato scrub and she did not even bother to wash away the make up covered lightly on her face. Seeing her face especially her both of cheeks was red, calming her heartbeats for a while seemed the first thing in her mind. She mused her eccentric state was resulted from being too long bathing under the sun and yet god knew more than her as her mind was occupied by Shinichi. 

She put more of the scrub on her hand and squeezed the content out more until the bottle was particularly empty. all of the substance was placed on her face and during the afternoon, she had already forgotten the things that occurred in her life on her dates. she was drowned inside her own imagination of life that should just remained as a dream. 

Haru grabbed a glass on the sink which filled with blood. Her bloody reflection on the mirror made her grimace in disgust due to the lacking of blood and it did not meet her anticipation at all. It was not sufficient for her.

Without further ado, Haru slipped into her favourite bath tub and drenched her attire of the day with herself. A delight smile on her face unconsciously formed before following by some maniac laughter.
