Chapter II . Ren

Ren's POV

I keep on texting her but there is no reply. I'm getting pissed. well not really. It's just that it's very unusual of her to ignore my messages. Is she busy? nah, I don't think so. I know that it's her vacant time or if she's doing something it's not that important. Our teacher is absent that is why I am free right now. Still no reply so I decided to call her. "answer the phone" -_- I keep on mumbling.

"Ren?" I really love her voice ... it's soothing. "Where are you? I've been texting you for how many tims already but I receive no reply", I said. "uh, sorry hehe just walking around." oh? okay? how unusual... I was thinking that maybe she's reading manga again but I guess I was wrong. "Come here at the gym" i said to her and she answered why. "Just come here. I'll wait for you here" then I hang up. Actually, I have something to give her, I bought it when I was at the mall yesterday during my vacant time.

I like Nicole Rain ... well not that "LIKE". Uh, she's like a little sister to me. She's pretty and sweet. She's not aware of that though. I'm a close friend of her older brother who's 2 years older than me. She's a year younger than me and I have no li'l sister so I'm treating her one. Her friends call her 'Nicole' but I preffered calling her 'Rain'. You know 'Ren' 'Rain' rhyme haha. I am currently in the gym because I want to play basketball. This is one of my past time. I get the ball. "I supposed I'll just play by myself ... jeez . where is that cousin of mine by the way. -_- It's his vacant too. i should have called him". I shoot the ball. I just keep on playing while waiting for Rain.

Rain's POV

I'm almost in the gym. jeez . what does he want from me ... -_- that Ren!!! I pouted. Wait' doesn't he have class this time? uh, I'll just ask him later.

Ren is one of my brother's close friend. He's 2 years younger than my brother but they are close because of basketball. They are playmates during our High School. Uh, Yeah, Ren and I came from the same school.

I enter the gym. I saw him playing. He's still at it. I walked to where his things near. He didn't recognized me cause he's focused playing. I smiled. He looked so handsome eventhough he's sweating. His shirt and hair are wet already. "Hey!" I called out for him. He shoot the ball then look at me. "Why did you ask me to come here?". instead of answering, "What took you so long?" he furrowed his eyebrows while walking towards his things. I just shrug "I took my time walking?". He get his towel then wipe his face and hair. "So what?" I pouted. He get something from his bag then throw it to me "Here".

I caught it then smiled. "A manga" I'm happy. "Thank you Ren". He walked towards me then messed my hair and smiled. "No problem".

I remember something, "By the way, you're supposed to be having class right now... are you skipping?". "Of course not! Our teacher is absent". "Oh okay..." I said

He looked at his watch. "We still have 28 minutes left, wanna play basketball?" He asked me. I pout "You know that I'm no match to you" he chuckled. "Oh come on." He dragged me then give the ball to me. "just shoot it",he said . jeez . but I shoot it. I know how to play basketball too. I'm just not that good. Ren excused himself to fix his self and just let me by myself ... shooting. After several minutes ... "Ren, we better get going. I don't wanna be late. It's 4:20pm already" He nodded. he get his things and i get the manga he gave me then went to our respective classrooms.
