"Hey! That's not fair!" Charlie exclaimed in between laughter, seeing as Olivia pulled his plate which consisted of his slice of pizza away from him.

Olivia held the plate over her head, "First, confess." She demanded, a mischievous smirk plastered on her lips.

Sighing in defeat, Charlie raised his arms as an indication of his surrender. "Fine - You're actually a really, really, really great chef. Happy now?" He smiled.

Olivia placed her index finger and thumb under her chin as she thought for a moment. "Not quite." She playfully raised the plate higher, the sleeve of her grey opened cardigan slowly falling off her shoulder.

Charlie groaned, "What now, Lili?" He asked. "Kiss my cheek." She pointed at her right cheek as she grinned sheepishly, patting Brady's head as she awaited him to do so.

"Easy as pie." Charlie proudly smirked, and leaned in to plant a soft peck on her cheek. "Satisfied?" He asked.

Olivia nodded, "Very." Soon after, the brunette gave him the yellow plate with his pizza sitting on it and giggled to herself as she saw Charlie hungrily devour it.

"Mm, by the way," He hummed in satisfaction as he spoke with his mouth full. "Do you wanna go to a party next weekend?" He asked.

Olivia raised a quizzical eyebrow, caught completely off guard by his proposal. "You've gotta be kidding me." She says.

Charlie raised his brow curiously, "Why? Shawn's inviting, and we didn't make you a welcome back party yet, so it's the most suitable timing, if you ask me." He said thoughtfully.

Olivia held an expression of unease on her face, "I don't know, Charlie...I might ruin it, or something..." She mumbled.

"How are you gonna ruin it?" Charlie asked, adjusting in his seat as he saw Olivia shrug her shoulders. "Just come, it'll be fun." He grinned.

"Are you sure?" She asks, uncertain.

"If I wasn't sure, I wouldn't have asked you, babe." Charlie confidently blurted out as he leaned back on the sofa and engaged in his own activity by using his phone.

A sudden feel of heat has risen up to Olivia's cheeks as she heard the words effortlessly escape his lips. 'Did he just call me...babe?' She mentally asked, her mouth falling slightly agape.

After a moment of debating, she had finally came to a decision. "Okay, I guess. You're gonna be there, right?" Olivia asks hopefully.

"Yeah! I'm gonna be back from New Jersey by that time, and it'll probably be a nighttime thing, so I'll probably make it." He shrugged as he chuckled.

"Great! Well, thanks for inviting me. I should probably thank Shawn, too." Olivia mumbled the last part.

Charlie nodded his head excitedly, before noticing the time and realising he was supposed to be somewhere over an hour ago. "Shit, I'm late." He quickly took his watch from the coffee table and stood up, Olivia joining in reflex. "What's wrong?" She asked.

Charlie shook his head, "No, nothing. I'm just sorta late for something, so I gotta go." He said in one breath, throwing his jacket over his shoulders as he rushed towards the door.

"Can I call you later?" Charlie stops in his tracks as he turns to Olivia, who couldn't help the stammering which forced itself through her words. "Y-Y-Yeah, of course!" She chuckled nervously, mentally cursing herself for her stutter.

"Great. Oh! And thanks for the pizza." He said, and walked out her door with Brady following him, waving his hand goodbye as he flashed her his set of white teeth behind the smile she adored.

"No problem, thanks for coming over. Bye Brady!" Olivia leaned beside the doorframe of her hotel room, seeing as they slowly disappeared from her sight.

Closing the door, Olivia leaned her back against it and sighed heavily, "...Fuck." She ran her fingers through her hair as the thought of Charlie flooded her mind.

"...why'd I blush?" She asked herself, desperately hoping
for an answer from god knows who.

As Olivia sat back on the couch, a thought had occurred to her mind, causing her to furrow her eyebrows in what she hated to admit, jealousy.

"Wait...who is he attracted to?" She asked herself, crossing her arms under her chest as she drowned in her thoughts.
