After nearly two hours, a doctor walked up to Charlie's spot. "Ah, are you here for Olivia Rosewood?" He asked politely.

Charlie immediately stood up and nodded his head. "Yes, I am!" He replied. "Well, I'm Dr. Elijah Turner, and I'm just here to update you on her medical status." He said as he took a glance at his clipboard.

Charlie gulped, mentally and emotionally preparing himself for whatever was about to occur. "Yeah, right, of course."

"Well, I won't deny that miss Rosewood's injuries are severe." He told him.

Charlie exhaled shakily as he continued to listen to the doctor.

"We've detected a fractured wrist, a broken leg, multiple bruises and cuts on the arms and legs, and she is certainly an emotional mess right about now." Dr. Elijah said, taking a glance at his clipboard.

"She didn't....forget anything, did she?" Charlie asked hesitantly, his heart racing quicker as he noticed the doctor's silence.

"She's not quite aware of her surroundings, and has no memory of the accident. However, she's requesting to see you." He smiled.

Charlie let out a large sigh of relief, "I was waiting so long for you to say that." He admitted shamelessly.

Dr. Elijah nodded, "I know. So, here's what you need to do - Obviously, there's no doubt she'll need to stay here for a while. And you should probably contact her family." He told him, taking a few notes.

"I understand. I called her brother, he should be on his way with his sister and mother." Charlie said, shifting in his spot.

"Good. You can go ahead and see her, don't worry! She's absolutely fine, she's just in need of support and a lotta love." Dr. Elijah chuckled in amusement.

"Oh! And..." He began, causing Charlie to avert his attention towards him. "What's your relation to the patient?" He asked.

"I'm her boyfriend." Charlie replied.

"Boyfriend, okay. Go right ahead." He said, causing Charlie to grin. "Thank you so much, Doctor." Charlie said, and quickly dashed away from his sight and to where Olivia was.

He couldn't wait to see her, he couldn't wait to tell her how sorry he was and hold her in his arms, reassuring her that everything was going to be alright.

After passing by a number of rooms, he found Olivia's. Without hesitation, he opened the door and found her on a hospital bed.

IV fluids flowing into her body, her left wrist wrapped, while her lower body was covered with the hospital sheets.

Olivia's face was puffy despite her tears, her head constantly moving around to examine her surroundings, and her expression was something which pained Charlie entirely.

Fear.

"Olivia?" Charlie said, his voice cracking.

Olivia turned to see the owner of the voice, her right hand covering her mouth as her eyebrows scrunched together in a sad manner. "Ch-Charlie..." She said in a whisper, but Charlie heard her loud and clear.

Instantly, he rushed over to her spot and protectively wrapped his arms around her small figure. "I'm so glad you're here, Charlie..." Olivia sobbed, her tears wetting Charlie's shirt.

"Shhh, it's okay, Lili. You're gonna be okay, baby. I'm right here." Charlie reassured her, rubbing her back in circles as she continued to cry.

Olivia sniffed, burying her face in Charlie's chest as she gripped his shirt. "I don't know what's going on, I'm so scared, Charlie..." Olivia confessed, causing Charlie to tighten his grasp around her.

"You got into an accident, Liv. You went over the speed limit." Charlie told her, holding her cheeks to see her face.

Olivia blinked, "...I-I did? I don't r-remember..." Olivia stammered, causing Charlie to wipe her tears using his thumb.

"Do you remember why you were driving?" He asked softly.

"I-I...I wanted to go...to Bella's...and..." She paused. "...And teach her a lesson." She finished, a look of realisation evident on her face.

Charlie nodded, "Mm-hm, that's right. And why'd you wanna teach her a lesson?" Charlie asked, desperately wanting to know the situation.

Olivia nodded as she sniffed, "She...she wanted to stop my radio show." She told him, causing Charlie to furrow his eyebrows together in anger as his tone slightly lost it's softness.

"What?" He asked, feeling his body stiffen.

Olivia looked at him, "I just...I couldn't let her do that to me..! I-"

"...She just hates the thought of me moving on." Charlie said in realisation, more to himself than to Olivia.

"Charlie, you c-can't let her-"

"Baby, I got you. Don't worry, I'm the one who's gonna teach her a lesson." Charlie said, his aura slightly getting dark.

"And you," He said, smiling as he poked her nose. "Are never leaving my sight ever again. Okay?"

Despite her state,
Olivia couldn't help but smile.
"...Okay."
