The ticking of the clock. The tapping of the shoes down to the ground. The unending pour of sweat. The constipated students of today's world. The anticipation for the bell to ring is killing them inch by inch. Is this supposed to be like this? She didn't know how to divide her body for the numerous labor. He was sleep-deprived because of the long list of to-do's for tonight. Loss of appetite. Or maybe, they don't have time for food? You right there, do you think this is how it's supposed to be? School has been the number one stressor for teenagers nowadays. Sometimes, you can hear whispers of "i don't wanna do this anymore," "let tomorrow not come," "why am i even here?". Tears were shed, blood dripped, and breathings hitched. For what? For numbers dictating their worth as a human person? School shouldn't be like this. Instead of educating us, why do we feel like we're becoming meat inside a pressure cooker? Someday, students will become leaves falling from trees. It will suddenly be autumn by then. And it's on you, teach.
