My parents died when I was a 11 year old. From then on, I stayed in an orphanage near Kansas.

I recently moved out of the orphanage.

The alarm clock rung at 5:30 am. I threw it onto the floor and got up after half an hour, feeling sleepy.

I jogged along the road, for an hour and freshened up to get ready to go to school.

I hopped into my old rundown car to rush back to school.

*********

"Late again!" Someone was screaming from the back while I was shoving my belongings into the locker. I looked back to see my bff running towards me at full speed.

"Sorry, I was so lost in jogging down the streets that I forgot to keep an eye on my watch." I told her as a matter of fact when she finally landed by my side, not stopping the work that I am currently doing.

" Ok enough with ur jogging and shit, now let's go to our classroom. Oh and please stop shoving things randomly, your locker is such a huge mess." She spoke harshly, implying that she will not tolerate this again.

" Yeah!" I replied her, all the while rolling my eyes, ignoring the implied meaning etched in her tone, all excited about stepping my foot inside the classroom because today's Monday and the first period is on my favourite subject, maths.

We both entered the classroom and everyone greeted us, asking us how we spent our holidays and blah blah blah. We chatted like hell before the teacher came into the class and announced his arrival by banging the desk loudly with his hand.

"Good morning everyone, my name is Mr.Benert Robb and I will be teaching you this year's mathematics class." He introduced himself to us in a sophisticated but exaggerating manner.

He is a man in his late twenties with Auburn hair that is both curly and at the same time silky. He has a rectangular face with hazel eyes that can make you feel like they can look into the deepest parts of your heart, which I must admit that it's kind of creepy. He has such an uncanny resemblance to someone I know, but I couldn't exactly pinpoint who it is.

When I was still lost in my own thoughts, he suddenly turned his face to me and glared at me but then he blinked it away making me wonder whether what he did was true or whether I was just imagining it. Throughout the lecture, I secretly glanced at him only to be left with a cold shoulder. It almost felt like he was ignoring me due to a reason I couldn't exactly decipher.

Clg timings were over.

My bff Sam and I went our separate ways, after me promising her that I will be attending the party thrown by her parents for their upcoming 20th anniversary.

After arriving at home, the first thing that I did was to sprawl on my bed and sleep soundly. I woke up at around 8:30. Being a hard working student, and one who loves studying a lot, I went on and opened my books to go through today's notes. That's when I heard a knock on my door. My mind was urging me to not open the door, but I ignored the warning and went into the living room and from there, towards the door, but before I could open it, I saw a blackish grey mist metamorphose into a tall, young man, covered completely with black coloured clothing. Even his head is covered with cloth wound around in a way that most Muslims wear their hijabi, except that it covered even his eyes. He came near me and opened the the mouth of a small bottle and placed it in front of my nose. I was perplexed by the sudden turn of events that I stood there, frozen, on my feet. The bottle released a black mist which enveloped me completely, making me feel drowsy. You can easily imagine what happened later.
