I stared at him startled, my lips tingling from the kiss and brought my hand up to place my now shaky fingers on my lips.
“I couldn’t help myself she’s just so beautiful, and she’s a girl she’s a very lovely girl.” He slurred the last part of the sentence and I couldn’t help but notice the strong smell of beer vibrating off of him.
“Don’t worry about it guys.” I said feeling a bit like an over protective mother when her child does something wrong. “He just seems to be a tad knackered; some of my remedy potion I make for my brother should do the trick.”
I skipped into the kitchen and opened up the fridge, “hhmmm…..” I scanned the fridge looking for broccoli, carrots, and some onions for the smell and tomato paste along with some water. I couldn’t seem to find any of my ingredients in here. Maybe it’s just because they’re boys and they don’t care about nutrition, but as long as I live in this house with them, they are going to have to start eating healthier.
“Niall? Do you have any vegetables in this house by any chance?”I shouted so he could hear me.
“Umm………I don’t know you’ll have to ask Harry, he’s the chef in the house.” he said matter of factly.
“Okay, well then Harry do you have any vegetables in this house by any chance?”I said repeating myself.
“I don’t know, maybe you should ask-“
“Oh for goodness sake, somebody just tell me if we have vegetables or not so I can make YOUR friend better.” I cut him off, putting emphasis on the your.
I heard them all chuckle; before I heard footsteps coming towards me from the lounge. When he came into view I saw it was Niall. He still had a smile on his face and a sparkle in his eye from laughing. He walked past me and to the fridge and opened it. I heard him noisily bang and dig through the fridge until he pulled out some sort of dead animal in a plastic bag out and showed me.
“OMG, WHAT IN THE UNIVERSE OF ALL THAT’S PURE IS THAT ABOMINATION?”I asked as I backed as far away from the bag and the person holding it.
The stench was enough to make someone go completely crazy.Niall kept walking towards me with the Yoda’s fetus, and I kept walking backwards until my lower back collided with the edge of the kitchen counter. He was soo close to me and I didn’t have an escape route .A light bulb went off in my head and I immediately turned around and jumped onto the counter , standing up straight and looking for something to shield myself with. I saw a tray on top of the cupboard next to me and pulled it down hurriedly putting it in front of me.
“Niall I swear to god, if you come any closer with the Grinch’s fetus I will smack you side the head with this tray.”I said nervously showing him I was armed and ready to smack some whack job.
“What I thought you wanted vegetables?”He asked innocently with a huge grin spreading across his face.
“I said I wanted vegetables, not some mutant squirrel, I’m pretty sure I saw it move and it has a tail.”I said getting a little frightened if the plastic wrapped green ball of who knows what.
“Aww come on Celeste, Squeakers won’t hurt you .he said holding back a laugh.
“Oh great so now you’ve named the beast .Don’t be surprised when it starts calling you Mama.”I said holding back my own laughter when I saw his face fall. But he brightened up, when a smug look came onto his face.
“Do you know how to play cricket?”He asked with the biggest smirk I’ve seen since Barney.
“No, why would I want to know how to play in the first place, it’s such a boring sport I couldn’t be bothered about.
“What about in a situation where someone does this.”He said his eyes brightening in amusement.
I on the other hand was so confused “does what Nia-“
I felt something squishy hit my face where I wasn’t protected by the tray. Whatever hit me fell to the floor.
“What in the world was that?”I asked shocked only to notice that Niall was without Squeakers and the thing lying on the floor resembled it.
Niall looked at my shocked face and tried to hold in laughter, but failed.
“Oh you didn’t?”I asked in a slightly annoyed voice.
“Oh but I did.” He said a little too proud of himself
“IM GOING TO KILL YOU NIALL!”I said angry now.
“What are you going to do throw it back?”He asked still doubled over in laughter.
I thought for a minute, and then it was as if the holey gods answered my prayers once more and gave me an idea. I walked back a step on the counter bent my knees, and ran forward jumping off the edge of the counter and landed on Niall, who was now on the floor. With a very confused and shocked look on his face.
It was my turn to double over in laughter.
