You were on a road trip together, to go and ask klaus for some blood as Elena has stupidly got on the wrong side of a werewolf and they bit her. You and Caroline got in had got in to a fight

"Why do We have go, it was Elena who was stupid enough to get bitten" you said a bit annoyed as y/n never really liked Elena

"Im going because I'm Elena best friend and best chance of getting her klaus blood, I don't why your here, do you not trust me?"

Caroline bluntly stated a little unhappy about her insulting Elena considering the circumstances.

"Of course I do love" y/n voice and facial expressions softened for a second but soon returned to before.

"I'm here because I don't trust klaus, not one bit to be alone with my girlfriend, I know he's got a child now but that doesn't mean he's changed"

"I don't know why you hate klaus so much you have a lot in common you both like art and... lots of other stuff"

"Oh, so I'm a murderous psycho as well now am I?"y/n said smirking

"Y/N! JUST GIVE IT A REST STOP BEING SO JEALOUS, I LOVE YOU NOT HIM"

y/n froze and Caroline eyes widened it was not she didn't mean it she did she loved y/n but you two hadn't said I love you yet and she felt in this was the right time
"Y-you love me?" You quietly stuttered
Turning around to face Caroline

NO,...I mean y-yes?... oh I don't know."Caroline was for once in her life was Speechless

"Oh okay" y/n wanted to say more but she could already feel a tear her role down her face and fresh tear where forming in her eyes. Caroline saw this but didn't say anything she'd never y/n cry before.

About an hour of awkward silence later y/n and Caroline eyes were red you both weren't angry anymore, y/n was Hurt and Caroline felt bad for upsetting and constant wanting to face palm for what she said. They pulled up to the mikaelson mansion as kol was walking out he was confused went he saw Caroline crying
"Trouble in paradise"
Kol smirked but then he saw you were cry to and spend over to hug you whilst frowning over her shoulder at Caroline he could kill her right then but he knew y/n or klaus would kill him.

Just then klaus Rebekah and Elijah came out of the door shocked at the scene before him
"What are you doing here? I already sent some blood about an hour ago"
Caroline and y/n check they phone and saw y/n had a text saying they Elena got the blood and its okay.
Caroline smile for a second before returning to a sad/guilt face
Then they was an awkward silence again so Rebekah broke it by inviting us in.

As we walked i saw Hayley holding hope this was the first time I since her
"She's gorgeous" Caroline said to which I agreed
"Caroline could I speak to you outside"
Caroline quickly nodded trying to stop herself from crying as she thought y/n was going to break up with her
"Look Caroline I love you understand if you don't lov-" Caroline passionately kissed y/n so she couldn't finish her sentence. "I love you too, let's go home"
