I blacked out. I know I did because everything is black. I crack open one eye and close it. I wiggle all my fingers and toes, and move my head side to side. They all work, meaning nothing is Broken. I sit up and look around, and realize I'm not in the schoolyard anymore. I turn around and see the train tracks. I'm at the train tracks at the edge of the city, a twenty minute drive from my house, and I'm on foot. I start running towards home. Twenty minutes later I realize my bag is still in the schoolyard and change my course slightly. When I finally come to the schoolyard it has been dark for a while. I find my bag where I left it. The first thing I do is pull my phone out of my bag, and check the time, which reads 12:34. Shit. My parents lock me out of the house if I'm out later than 11:00 without them knowing where I am. I'll have to find somewhere else to sleep. Or maybe not. I pick up my bag and run to my house. I leave my bag on the ground and climb the tree in my backyard, hoping that the window of my room is unlocked. It is so I jump onto the roof of my house. My room is on the top floor, giving me room to reach down and pull up my window. I jump down and roll. I grab my bag and heave it at my window. It takes four tries but eventually my bag sails through the open window. I then climb the tree and jump through myself. I close the window and crash in my bed. I fall asleep as soon as my head hits the pillow.

Beep beep beep. My alarm goes off. I turn it off and get ready for school. Then I walk downstairs to see my parents at the table with shocked looks on their faces.
"Window." I say and my mom nods. I grab my breakfast and head to school. The first thing I do when I walk into homeroom is tell Riley and Michael what happened. Hands suddenly cover my eyes.
"Guess who!" says a familiar voice that lifts my spirits.
"Bob?" I ask jokingly.
"Nope." Amy removes her hands and comes around to face me. We go through the day until lunch.
"This is Tanner. He'll be initiating today." I tell Riley and Michael. The four of us head to the spot, accompanied by Amy.
"Alright! Let's see what you've got!" Michael says. Tanner launches at a table. double konging it. He then runs to the wall of the restaurant planting his fort and pushing off to do a wall front flip. Then he runs up the wall and goes to the far side. He starts running towards the edge and rolls off the edge, into a front flip, coming out in a roll, to perform a roll bomb. He stands up out of his roll and goes right into a cartwheel backflip. After that he comes back to us.
"How was that?" he asks.
"I don't know." I tell him, even though it was awesome. No need for him to get a big head about it. Michael, Riley and I huddle pretending to discuss it. "Well, how do I say this without hurting your feelings?" I say, just to see his reaction. All hope seems to drain from his body. "Welcome to team Cyclone!" I finish. Tanner looks shocked, then starts fist pumping like crazy. We all turn to head back and Amy congratulates her brother. We walk into the school, and this time we aren't late. We go through the rest of the day and head home. Several weeks pass, George picks more fight with people, especially me. George also confesses that he likes Amy. Derek switches his personality, and stops being George's friend. Michael becomes Ashley's boyfriend, and Dawson moves.

"You ready for the dance tonight?" Amy asks me. It's a Friday, and our school decided to make it the first dance of the year.
"Yeah, it'll be fun." I say, even though I am in no way ready for it. My friends, Tanner included, convinced me to ask Amy to be my girlfriend. As we go through the day that is the number one thing on my mind. When the dance finally comes in stay near her, waiting for an opportunity. When a slow dance song is played I quickly take my chance.
