Sorry about all the drama guys! If your like me you can barely stand the stuff, I just need to set a solid foundation in the relationships of this story. From this chapter on there will be less drama, and also less time skips.(Hopefully.)

Amy looks up at me with her grey eyes, seemingly larger, and the corners of her mouth slowly spread into a smile.

"Really?" she asks in disbelief.

"Yes." I say. "Took me long enough, didn't it."

"I'm just glad it happened at all." she replies, and I nod. The movie finishes, and we get into my car. 5 minutes later we pull up the driveway to Amy's mansion. "Do you want to come in?" she asks.

"Sure." I reply. We walk up the front steps to the door, when a movment catches my eye.

"So you remember everything now, I assume." says the person, who has stepped out of the bushes, but not far enough to give away his identity. "That amnesia must've been a real pain."

"Yeah," I reply, "it was. Who are you?"

"You know me, just not as I am." says the person.

"And what the hell does that mean?" I ask.

"You'll find out soon enough." then he turns and walks out of veiw.

"Well that was," Amy pauses, "unexpected."

"It sure was." I reply. "Shall we go inside?"

"Yes, we sha-" Her sentence turns into a scream, and I dont see the blow coming. I'm hit in the back of the head with a metal rod, and I fall to the ground. Amy's scream is muffled, and I try to stand. A wave of nasea washes over me, and I blink to get rid of the spots before my eyes.

"Daniel!" Amy screams. I stand, but am immediatly knocked back down again. A foot connects with my temple, and everything goes black.

*************************************

I wake up in a room with white walls, white floor, white roof, and a white table in the center. I pick myself up off the floor, and stumble over to it. On the table is a piece of paper. I pick it up, and turn it over. Written on it is what appears to be a set of instructions. The note reads:

Daniel, I have taken Amy captive. You have 48 hours to reach me, and get her back. If you do not meet the deadline, I get Amy, and you die. I am on the other side of the city. Once you reach the school you go to, I will have someone give you directions to my location. You may not seek help help from anyone, or you, Amy, and whomever you seek help from dies. And one last thing, you have to do your parkour thing. You have a camera strapped to your head, if you take it off, Amy dies along with you. If you take a car, or bike, or any means of transportation besides freerunning, you both die. Good luck you'll need it.

After reading this I let the paper fall to the floor. A door opens towards the back of the room, and a voice calls in,

"Your time starts now." I run towards the door and am temporarily blinded be the sunlight coming down. I walk forwards until my eyes adjust, then I pull out my phone to check the time. 12:00 exactly. I look around and take in my surroundings. I don't know where I am, but I do know that my school is on the west side of town. I stop the first person I see, a middle aged woman with vibrant blonde curls down to her shoulders, and ask her which way west is. She points in a direction, and, after thanking her I run in the direction she pointed. I come to a ledge and climb it. I look down to the end of the ledge and see a gap around four feet wide, and a building on the other side. I break into a run, and leap as high and far as I can when the end of the ledge comes. My feet hit the wall of the building, and my hands grasp the top. I pull myself up on top of the building, and keep runnning. I drop down on the other side, into a roll. I slow to a jog, as a group of obvious druggies comes towards me. One cuts me off, and the other two circle around me.

"What do you want?" I ask, letting out an exsasperated sigh.

"To slow you down." the one in front of me answers. "Bosses orders." So these guys are working for Amy's kidnapper. Without warning, I lunge and punch the closest druggie in the jaw, who crumples to the ground. One of the guys puts me in a full nelson before I can turn to face him, while the other druggie comes in for the free punch. At the last second I move my head, and the punch goes into his buddies shoulder. The grip on me loosens, and I kick back, bringing the person who was holding me over my shoulder, and I slam him into the ground. Now its just me and the guy that threw the punch. He runs at me, barly leaving enough time for me to side step. As he runs past I stick my arm out. He runs into it, and falls over backwards, cracking his head on the pavement. Miraculasly, he gets up. I kick him in the face. He falls over oncee more, and says,

"Your fighting a lost battle. You will never win. He set it up that way." He blacks out before I can ask who.
