Tony and I walked to the cafeteria. To be fair I wasn't that hungry but I didn't want to find out what would happen if I didn't eat, let alone I was having fun with my new friend. After we got our trays Tony and I sat on one of the tables. I barely touched my food, just dragged it around the plate. "Not hungry, nor was I my first week here but you have to eat, it's not good for you and you're wasting food" Tony says, he had a hint of concern in his voice "Do you want it?" I ask "Please eat I know you don't feel hungry but you need to eat" Tony replied, I could tell he was concerned and getting pissed so I forced myself to eat a little and as soon as he saw me eat he had a smile on his face.
After lunch we had a thing called "group therapy." Basically it's every inmate sitting in a big circle with one of the therapist and we talk about how our day went. Of course since I was new, they chose me first. "Everyone we have a new friend to join us, won't you tell us your name" the lady said, looking at me "Paige" I replied kinda quiet, I liked being in the spotlight but not like this, this was awkward. "So how did your day go, I see you made a friend" She looked at Tony and I, Tony of course sitting next to me so I feel more comfortable. It's funny how I just met him earlier yet it seems like we've known each other for years. "it was ok, and yeah" I replied "very good." Then the session went on with everyone in the room, There where people who were actually insane, well at least had some mental issues.
After the session, we only had till 6 to socialize, then from 7-9 we watch a movie since it was Saturday. This place doesn't seem so bad, I mean they don't treat me bad but I shouldn't talk, I've only been here for a day. Tony and I shared life stories of growing up, Tony had a strict life until the age of 16, apparently his mother died of heart problems, which of course made his father go down the wrong road and become a alcoholic, it's sad, Tony's mother seemed like a nice lady.

Tony's pov

As Paige shared her life story, it almost brought me to tears. I'm not one to have sympathy but she had it rough, at least worst than I had. Her mother was a whore and didn't know who the father was, let alone didn't have the time to care. They put her in foster care where she'd live till the age of 10, after that she got adopted by a family who was nice for the first half year then became mentally and verbally abusive. The last thing she said was "I'm surprised I'm not in here for killing them"
