Raven: It's been a long time since we've seen each other.
Prince: Yea, when you left me at that bad elemetary school in 3rd grade.
Raven: I know. I didn't want to leave you there. I had to move since my father had a business job to do and no one could watch me so I moved with him and last month we moved back here in California and I chose this school since it was a performace arts school and I wanted to take the Hip-Hop Dance class.
Prince: Nice. Hey, after school you wanna go by Starbucks and get us a drink and catch up on our lives?
Raven: Sure.
Prince: I'll pick you up.
Raven: Ok.
Prince: See you later.
Raven: Ok, Bye.
Prince POV
I walked to the table where my sister and the boys were sitting.
Ashley: Nice job Prince. I see you guys.
Prince: *laughs* We're going by Starbucks to catch up on our lives. It's not a date. So our butler has to come by and pick you up.
Ashley: Dang.
Roc: What's the girl name?
Prince: Raven.
Roc: *confused face* Who is that?
Prince: Remember? My best friend since 1st grade?
Roc: Ohhhhhh I know who that is. That's the girl who you always hung out with and on the playground you always played with her and not play football with us.
Prince: Yea.
Prod: That's gonna happen again too.
Prince: What you mean?
Prod: You're gonna hang out with her for now on and not hang out with us. Like your sister.
Ashley: .......
Prince: Well, could I at least hang out with her? We haven't seen each other in a while?
Prod: No, I'm talking about later on... You can catch up with her, I'm just saying you guys might end up going out and you're gonna always hang with her.
Prince: But she will be my girlfriend though.
Prod: Whatever. Let's go.
Everyone gets up except for Ashley.
Ashley: So you're going to Starbucks without me? Ok. *gets up*
Prince is sitting at the table all by himself.
__________________AT STARBUCKS________________
Prince: So what's been going on?
Raven: Well, my life has been going good. How about yours?
Prince: Mines going good too.
Raven: My parents aren't getting along so well.
Prince: How?
Raven: My mom just had another baby and my dad would go out at night and get drunk and while I'm out still at school doing things, my mom would be home alone with the baby and that can't happen. So I stay home with her and help her with my sister. Then one night he came home and we heard the door slam and heard him slamming down things and knocking things over and we knew he was drunk. Then he looked over at us and started yelling and I ran upstairs with the baby and put her in my room in her crib and I closed the door. Then I went downstairs and he started hitting my mom and I tried to get him off my mom and he wouldn't budge. Then I went over and grabbed a bat and knocked him out. We called 9-11 and they took him to the hospital and now he is in jail and my mom is going to divorce him
Prince: Wow. I feel bad for you.
Raven: It's ok. He was a total jerk. Are you're parents ok together.
Prince: Yea. They do aurgue but they don't fight like physical.
Raven: Oh. My mom is so nice. I love my mom.
They talked and talked and talked then they hugged each other and said bye and went home.
Ashley: So how was it?
Prince: It was fun. We talked and talked about our lives.
Ashley: Wow.
NEXT DAY
Prince POV
I walked into the library to talk to Raven. She was on library duty. So I went into the library and didn't see her at the desk. I went to the back and I saw her and another boy kissing.
Prince: :O
Raven: Stop Brad I'm not your girlfriend any-
They both look up and saw Prince:
Prince: I thought you agreed with me and said that we would be together forever.
Raven: I'm sorry Prince I was putting up books and he came and started bothering me. He's not my boyfriend trust me.
Brad: I am your boyfriend bae what are you talking about? *starts kissing her*
Raven: *backs away* YOU ARE NOT MY BOYFRIEND!
Prince: I'm gonna go *looks down and walks away*
Raven: Prince wait!
He continues to walk away.
Raven: Brad look what-
Brad: Shut up! You're going to my house.
Raven: No I'm not. Get out!
He gives her the death glare and walks out. She starts crying because she feels like she lost a best friend.
