When we pulled up at school, we go out and everyone laid eyes on us. Especially me. Everyone knew who I was as a nerd. Now, they didn't know who I was. People had their mouths hanging open, people giving stank faces, people talking and talking. This is a great feeling.
Ashley: See Prince? My clothes make a big difference. Almost everyone is looking at me.
Prince: I see... So far, you've became lame to popular.
Ashley: Yea.
*bells rings*
Ashley: Bye see you later!
I walked inside the school and I walked in the hallway. People made space for me. Everyone looked at me from head to toe.
Jayla: Who is that girl?
Kayla: I don't know.
Jayla *giving stink face as Ashley walks by*
Kayla: Are you jelous of her?
Jayla: No. I thought I was the popular one! I will get her.
Kayla: Really. *walks off*
As I walked down the hallway, people starring at me, I went to my locker and grabbed my stuff and headed to class. When I went in, I wasn't the first one. I was almost the last one. I went in 3 seconds before the bell rang. I sat next to a really nice girl.
Kayla: Hi, I'm Kayla.
Ashley: Um, hi.
Next to me was this girl that was giving me the death glare.
Ashley: Um, I'm sorry do you have a problem staring at me?
Jayla: Nothing. You just need to stay away from my fame.
Ashley: First of all, I don't know who you are, and second of all, I ain't trying to steal your fame. Right now you being-
Kayla: Jayla, leave her alone. She isn't doing nothing to your looking ape ahh.
Just then the teacher walked in.
Ms. Lane: Alright, take your notebooks and I have to go by the office. I will be back.
Kayla: Hey, sorry for Jayla getting in the way.
Ashley: Is she your sister?
Kayla: Yea. She gets on my nerves half of the time fussing about people stealing her fame.
Ashley: Popularity Hogger.
Kayla: I know right. Wanna sit with me at lunch with my friends?
Ashley: Sure.
4th pd. (Lunch)
Ashley
I started taking my own lunch to school because the school lunch these days are nasty.
I sat down at a table with Kayla and another girl.
Kayla: Hey Ashley! Ashley, this is Ciara. Ciara, this is Ashley.
Ciara: Hey
Ashley: Hey
Kayla: So you know, my sister Jayla was talking to me and told me that she rules the school.
Ciara: No one is studying her.
Ashley: I told Kayla that I wasn't trying to steal anyone's fame. I'm not trying to get popular like she does.
Kayla: I know right.
Ciara: You guys, I need some more clothes, so you guys wanna go shopping with me?
Kayla: I got homework.
Ashley: I have a project to work on.
Jayla: Oh. How about Saturday?
Kayla and Ashley: Ok.
Just then Jayla walks over to our table.
Kayla: What do you want?
Jayla: I was just telling this little nerd to not steal my fame.
Ashley: *gets up* First of all, I'm not trying to steal your fame! I just wanted to change my style, that's all! And you think I'm trying to steal your damn spotlight! Ain't nobody trying to steal your spotlight!
Jayla: Hold on! I was at this school before you! So if you wanna get into a fight! Let's go! *takes off earrings*
I grab my water bottle and throw the water at Jayla.
Jayla: The-?
I run out the lunchroom. Before Jayla chases after me, someone grabs her to stop her. I didn't want to get in trouble. But if she does that to me again in public, it's going D-O-W-N!
