While in class, Harry counted down the final minutes to freedom. For the 90 minute class he spent the time daydreaming—fantasizing would be more accurate. The idea of seeing Draco shirtless by the lake was driving him mad. Harry imagined his porcelain body wading into the water. He pictured the muscles in his arms and back rippling as he swam. Harry hoped that Draco would decide to socialize and make an appearance at the last day festivities. He thought that it would be the perfect time to execute the plan he had been devising.

Harry wanted Draco, and he was willing to put forth the effort to attain this goal. He decided if Draco wasn't going to make a move, then he would. He knew the blonde haired boy was still interested too. There were instances where Harry had caught him staring, and Draco would quickly look away with cheeks flushing crimson. As for his plan Harry intended to hover. He figured if he was constantly around the boy that he wouldn't be able to resist after a while. Indeed it was a risky plan, but Harry was used to risky situations. Worst case scenario, Draco would tell him to sod off. It was worth a shot, he thought.

Draco was in a surprisingly good mood. A wave of relief flowed over him when he was dismissed for his final class of the semester. He felt free. He headed back to his room and plopped onto his bed as soon as he walked in. While absentmindedly staring at the ceiling he heard a knock at the door.

"Come in!" he called not budging from his spot on the bed.

"Dracothereisalakepartyandyou'regoing!" Pansy yelled as she stormed into the room. She plopped down on the bed beside him, eagerly waiting for his response.

"Slow down Pansy, I barely heard a word you said"

"I said, there-is-a-lake-party-and-you're-going," she said enunciating each word as if she was talking to a small child.

"Oh is there now?"

"Yes, and all the eight year, including your are going. I'm not going to allow you to be your typical antisocial self, given the fact that you'll probably never see half these people ever again"

"You make a compelling point," Draco mused. His mind instantly went to Harry. All he could think about was watching the raven haired boy emerge from the water with his wet hair sexily slicked back and droplets of water cascading down his chest and abdomen.

"Hellooo," Pansy said snapping her fingers, breaking Draco from his trance.

"okay, okay I'll go"

"yayy!" Pansy squealed going in for a hug only to be pushed away "Okay, so Draco," she continued.

"yes?" he said looking quizzically at her.

"I have to tell you something, and you have to swear to never tell a soul"

"Okay...you have my word," he said becoming more and mored confused by the minute.

"I think I fancy a Gryffindor"

Draco's jaw dropped in shock. " Who is it Pansy?" he asked deeply concerned. Of course his mind instantly went to Harry. He's the only decent looking Gryffindor he thought to himself. Decent was an understatement, Draco was completely infatuated with Harry but was too stubborn to admit it to himself and anyone else.

"I...I Can't tell you" Pansy whispered looking down at her hands in her lap.

"Why not??" Draco blurted out abruptly

"Because, it's embarrassing, but I need your help'"she said.

"How do you expect me to help if I don't know who this Gryffindor specimen is?

"Well, you and Potter were roommates for half the year, and seem to be civil with each other..." She started.

"What are you getting at?" Draco asked feeling his cheeks heat up with embarrassment

"Ugh, do I have to spell it out for you? I fancy Dean Thomas. Yes I know it's pathetic and please, don't ask me why, but I just need you to talk to potter to throw my name out there..."

"Oh, well I guess I could do that" Draco said tentatively. A million things were rushing through his head. He would have to approach Potter and he had been doing such a good job ignoring him. He knew Potter still fancied him and he was still unsure when it came to his own feelings about the other boy.

"thanks love" she said giving his arm as squeeze as she got up from his bed. "So I'll see you at 2 by the lake" she said heading out the door.

Draco was officially in pure panic mode. First, he had to figure out a swimsuit since he had nothing to wear, second he had to face potter. The latter was what was giving him the most anxiety. He was only talking to Potter for Pansy, once he relayed his message he could escape further conversation. But the problem was, he wasn't sure if he wanted to avoid more conversation. Draco was conflicted....as always.
