Louis Tomlinson

I didn't know what to do.

She was there. She gave me a smile. It was humiliating to even show her that I was eyeing her, snapping out of my daze and all that. She smiled and I brushed it off. She must think I'm an arrogant little prick now.

Oh god.

Smooth move on trying to give an impression, Tomlinson.

I could have at least smiled back. I panicked.

What--no! Why on earth would I panic?

But when she smiled, it was like, she was just smiling at another man. Not Louis Tomlinson. She showed no sign of excitement. Shock? Yes. Excitement and thrill? None at all. Maybe she was just shy? That could probably be it. Maybe she didn't know it was me?

No way, everyone knows I'm Louis Tomlinson.

I was expecting her to give me her number like any other girl does but wow she just smiled at me.

That's a first. I'm sure as hell she knows who I am and all I got was a smile?

I had to look again, pretending I was on the phone with someone so she wouldn't think I was trying to look at her.

I slowly turned and flicked my attention above where the name of the store was. Then I slowly lowered my gaze to get a glimpse of her face.

But I didn't just get a glimpse of her, I was able to look at her whole appearance. I didn't know if it was a plus that she was looking at me too. And I didn't know what to do.

So I had to scurry away.

"What was that?" Lily whisper-yelled at me.

"What d'you mean what?" I need to play it cool with her. If I showed any action that I was affected by his gestures, she would never ever shut up, I swear.

But why did he just walked a way? I know he's a busy lad. He could've returned the smile or something, he just walked out instead.

Asshole.

I heard Lily grunt and scoff. "Why are you so negative about this?" Her voice sounded defeated.

I sigh, knowing what she was referring to. "Lily, it was just one show. So he stared at me, I stared back. Did you really think that was love or whatever it is you're thinking about? It's nothing." I cut myself off, catching my breath.

"Yes, it may have been a coincidence that he's here but I'm sure we won't see him again. And all we need to do now is get over it. Let's just say that it's like a one night romance or something." I finish off.

Lily likes watching stories that involves love-at-first-sights and all that crazy romantic twists at the beginning. She needs to stop watching those because it's all getting in her head.

"One Night Romance?" She lets out a laugh. "Where'd you get that?"

"Your head, maybe? It's what you're assuming, isn't it?" I shot back with a playful glare.

We pause for a while, looking at the shelf with unique vintage finds.

"Can you promise that if ever," I try to speak up but she raises a hand to stop me. "IF ever, we see him again, you'll talk to him? Use your charms or flip your hair, bite your lip, show your legs..."

"Lily stop!" I can't help but laugh at her. She then joins laughing with me and we continue looking for that music box she was talking about earlier.

This girl is crazy.

She really wants me and Louis to happen all because of a stare. Ha-ha.

Oh, hell no.

I won't agree to that. He's not my type of guy. I want someone who goes to uni, like me. Just a plain cute boy who loves books. A guy who's going to give his attention to me only. Well, of course he'd have his priorities, but he'd have me at one of the tops. I don't want anyone who is famous, he'll be too busy for me.

I haven't been in a proper relationship, the last two were a complete mess. I want my next one to be a long one, not a short-term game.

I'm sure the frontman won't agree to that either. He won't waste time on me because he'll be focused on his music and his bandmates. His career, I bet, is his top priority seeing that his band is now reaching the top of their game after many years of hard work. He'll meet other dashing females, heck, he might even be talking to one now.

God won't agree to that as well. He'll give me someone with my leveling; ordinary, plain, average and simple. And He'll give Louis someone with his leveling; rich, well-known and all that he is.

Here I am, overthinking things when I shouldn't be.

Why am I suddenly thinking these things?

I can't help it though, Lily seems to have made a point. But it's still all too impossible.

Unless destiny tries to change things around here and proves something to me, then I might just consider it.
