After the war was over everything was settling down annabeth and percy had decided that they needed a break so they brokeup they were still friends it wasn't awkward cause it just felt right and same applied to piper and jason piper had started dating some guy from the ares cabin he was a good lad though he was a son of the war god yet he was polite and caring and his love for piper was evindent in his eyes Annabeth on the other hand has started dating Reyna which was really shocking for the rest 7 (nico included) so that left jason and percy single they were boty already good friends but they were like "best friends" or thats what they called they were always seen with eachother with jason arm draped over percy's shoulder broad smiles were always plastered on their faces when they were together heck they even slept in the same same bed cuddled together usually in percy's cabin cause persy loved his cabin and didn't wanted to leave it while jason just didn't wanted to upset percy they both became habitual to hold hands to sleep together to be always together people started assuming that they were dating but percy and jason didn't even had a thought like that though jason liked staring at percy's face when he was asleep and percy loved how jason was so enthusiastic about everything so one day when one of jason's friend asked them if "they were dating"they were both surprised when they came to the dining area they met annabeth who asked why they were both looking so uneasy and she also noticed that they were Both not touching each other which was very unlikely of them "umm..nothing we just met a friend who just assumed we were a couple so yeah nothing serious"jason answered her question Annabeth was a wise person and she knew that these two were completely in love with eachother and she was happy for them she smiled at them fondly "u guys do look like a cute couple"she said in a teasing tone to which both the boys rolled their eyes but the speck of red was visible on their cheeks from that day everything changed percy and jason drifted apart not knowing what to do they simply couldn't consider the fact that they were in love with eachother they both didn't slept at nights missing eachother's warmth percy didn't laugh as much as he used to in jason's presence while jason was losing the glint in his eyes it was weird how they both affected each other this much days weeks and months flew by as both the boys thought that the other one didn't love them percy decided to leave the camp he had already told this to his friends just jason was left he was gonna tell him today just before leaving he slung his backpack on his shoulder eyeing his cabin one last time before leaving it making his way to the 1st cabin he felt weird its been months since he has entered this cabin he missed it he missed jason tears sprung in his eyes as he remembered the beautiful boy he was sure now that jason wasn't just a friend jason was much much more than a friend he wiped his tears with the back of his hand knocking light on the door no reply he waited for sometime before knocking again this time rather loudly the door swung open revealing a sleepy jason percy's heart did a dance of joy as he saw him jason rubbed his eyes yawning and only then did he realised who was at the door his eyes widened in surprise "sorry to disturb you" percy muttered jason's eyes widened again as he heared percy's voice thinking when did his voice become this husky or was it always like that and he never took any notice he let the other boy enter in the cabin closing the door behind percy walked in the cabin not hesitating making his way towards the window in the corner of the room both the boys were silent until percy decided to break the news to jason "I am leaving"he said quietly almost wishing that jason didn't hear it but jason did hear it he stood rigid not daring to move tears feared to break free from his eyes "w-when"he stuttered his calm composure disappearing slowly "just after this"percy said and that did it jason let go of his tears he couldn't believe it that percy was leaving and what hurt him more was that he was telling it to him now just before leaving anger boiled up in his veins he wanted to shout at the other boy he wanted to punch him for trying to leave him but yet he couldn't move percy turned around his heart broke as he saw the older boy crying in a moment he was infront of the other boy throwing his arms around his neck huging him tightly as jasons strong arms wrapped around his smaller frame before they knew it they were both sobbing "u-u are a fuc-fucking idiot"jason said while "its- its not li-like u are inte-intelligent"percy replied "mo-more int-intelligent th-then yo-you"jason said and with that they were both arguing about who was more intelligent jason pulled apart a little wanting to see percy's face he glanced at percy's lips before deciding to deal with the consequences later he bent forward pressing his lips to percy's lightly not wanting to take him by surprise and also waiting for percy to push him away percy froze for a moment before he moved his lips slightly again jason's both the boys froze at the movement it wasn't like they had expected it to be the kiss wasn't sloppy or a makeout heated one it was just a simple kiss but yet it was soo different
