Our voices mingled same words tumbling out from our mouths.

I looked down at the man beneath me my eyes widening as I realized who it was.

His pale complexion,cut through haircut and his catlike black eyes could never fool me.

His voice had gotten huskier over the years.

"Ho-how are you?"Why the heck was I struggling with my words it's not like I don't know him.

But his personality has changed the aura he used to give in high school had gotten stronger.

I rolled my eyes somethings never change for example his smartass comebacks.How ironic.

I felt giddy seeing him after 8 years all my highschool hormones suddenly kicking back.

"What are you doing here?"I asked now finding nothing else to say but not wanting him to get away it's been soo many years since I met someone from my highschool life.He felt like home.Just like she used too.

I blushed remembering how he always made fun of me when I spaced out.

My phone vibrated in my pocket I took it out my eyes widening at the realization I was 30 mins late Rose was gonna kill me.

"What girlfriend message or something"Nico asked in a teasing manner.

I rolled my eyes at him.

"No it's not my girlfriend it's someone else c'mon we are going to meet her".

And before he could say any thing I grabbed his small hand interlocking our fingers pulling him through the crowded streets my apartment building was luckily just infront of the coffee shop so it took us almost 5 min to reach there and further 3 mins to reach my apartment.Nico was struggling the whole time pesting me to tell him where we were going I had almost forgotten how stubborn he was.Almost.

I swiped my card on the plastic bar as the machine ticked red opening the door.

I hurriedly drag Nico inside not wanting to stay in the cold anymore.

"You all late"Her baby voice called out my eyes fell on my bedroom's door to see my little princess standing there wearing her favourite penguin pajamas my hand left Nico's as I took eager step towards her lifting her to my chest and hugging her tightly.
