"The dawn before the sunrise is the darkest."
The day it all happened went by too fast for him to comprehend. One moment he was crossing the street; the next his body was lying lifelessly on the ground. The faint yelling of the drunk driver rushing out of his car; sirens echoing in the background and then the faint sounds of the beeping from the heart rate monitor.
It had been several weeks he had been staying at the hospital. And as each day passed he found it harder to cope with the pain just by doing nothing. Jungkook rolled himself in the wheel chair down the hallway making his way outside to go sit on the very same bench that gave him comfort whenever he decided to draw.It was the same scenario he would see everyday. The same pastel yellow walls; the lush green grass and leaves on trees outside seemed to mock his broken-down existence. His eyes focused on the path ahead of him; the path of which he strayed from. Of which this path he strayed upon brought him to her.
She stood in front of him; blocking his path. She had a smile plastered across her face. Her hair pulled into a ponytail. She wore a white hospital gown that seemed to make her pale complexion look even more ghost-like. And beside her she had an IV cart with an IV injected into her arm. Jungkook looked up at the girl. His dull eyes meeting her's. The two exchanged no words as she extended her hand out to him.
"You make me begin" -Jungkook
