Old "Friend"

I'm at the coffee shop right now. It's my lunch break so I decided to spent it here. I'm on my laptop and then I looked out the window. A black sports car pulled up. A guy came out wearing a suit and shades on.

Wait, he looks familiar, I thought.

He starts walking to the door. He pulled it and stepped in. He is walking towards me so I look away.

"Hey" He says and sits in front of me.

I look back and look at him.

"Do I know you?" I ask him. He chuckles a little bit.

"You really forgot about me, huh?" He laughs. He grabs his shades and takes it off.

I was shocked.

"JM!" I screamed and everyone stared at me. I apologized and looked back at the man in front of me. He is smiling so I smiled back.

"Hahaha, Wow I thought you forgot about me already" He said.

"Of course not, you're my best friend" I said "so, how did you know I was here?" I asked

"I went to your job and they said you go here at lunch so I went" He said

"And how did you now where I work?" I asked him "are you stalking me?" I jokingly said

He laughed "No, I saw Anne yesterday and she told me" He explained

"Oh, well, I'll remember to thank Anne because I saw you again after what? 5 years?" I said

"Well technically 4 and a half. I'm not counting by the way" He laughed and I laughed too.

"Nice" I said "So what are you doing here? Are you back for vacation?" I asked

"Umm, no" He smiled "For good actually"

"What? Really?" I said excitedly

"Yes really" He mocked me.

"Yay! We can catch up on all those years we missed! Right?" I asked

"Umm, maybe not all" he said

"What do you mean?" I asked confused

"I came with...my girlfriend" he said

I frowned a little but not enough for him to notice.

"She wanted me to tour her here and show her how my old life was" he continued

"Oh, alright then" I said clearly disappointed.

"Yeah, but we can still hang out though, just not as much as before" He said apologetically.

"No it's alright" I faked a smile "Well, I better go, my lunch break is over" I said standing up. He stood up too.

"I'm really happy I got to see you again, K" he said and he hugged me. I hugged him back.

"Me too" I said and I let go. We went outside.

"Well, I don't want you to be late so I should go" he hugged me one more time before getting in his car and leaving.

I sighed and walked back to work.
