~Chapter 8~

Marco's P.O.V

   I wrapped my arms around Star as she continued to weep. We sat on the floor as she pour her feelings into my chest. What came over? Is it the sudden change of events? Is it something I said? Is it Penny? I don't know.

   "Hi beautiful.." I said lifting up Star's head to reveal her red eyes and tears dripping from her cheeks. It hurt me to see her like this. "A-are you.. okay? I'm worried." No answer. " Please, I'm it hurts me to see you like this." Still no response. "STAR, TELL ME WHO DID THIS SO I CAN GO BEAT THEIR ASS!"

   She remainked quiet, probably stunned by my outburst. "I-I'm sorry, I don't know what came over me..." I said, voice shaking. "I-I just don't t want anyone to hurt you, mentally or physically. I've became so protective over you,when I was appointed as your squire when we were 14, and even more when we started dating... I.. I just want the best for you." I said starting to... cry? I needed to pull it together, I have to be strong not only for me... but for Star.

   "why.." Star whispered still with her head on my chest. "Why... why do you do this?" Star said only making her eyes look towards me. "Wh- what do I do?" I said wiping her tears.

   "Why, do you pretend to like me, to care for me even when I'm.... like, this? I'm a freak... we all know that. I just crash landed into your life, ruined your relationship with Jackie, made you miss a WHOLE year of school when you came to Mewn-" "So what..." I cut her off, not wanting to hear her say such things. "So? That's in the past. I'm.. we're back on Earth, together, Jackie is no more than an old friend, and I'm happy just.. being here with you." I said lifting her chin again.

     "We might have had a few minor setbacks, Peggy's an example (oops ment Penny... really need to stop singing Schylur Sisters).." "You meant HORRIFIC setback!" Said nudging my shoulder. It's good to see her smiling again. "Hehe, I guess we should get up off the floor.." Star said wiping off the last of my semi-dried tears. "Yeah, I guess you're right. I need to put on.. some, clothes."I said realizing that I was only wearing a towel.

   She laughed standing up and helped me make sure my hair was dry. "I should go, before they don't think we 'just talked'. Oh! About that, ThankYou.. f-for listening. But I still have one question..." Star said walking back towards me holding both of my hands. "Y-yeah, of course, ask away!" I said nervously, she looked straight into my eyes as if she was staring into my- our? soul.

   "D-do you really love me?..." Star said. The whole room became still as she awaited my answer. "R-really, that's all?! Of course I do! Your MY girlfriend. That's all I could ever wish for.." I said kissing her. I guess she was surprised at first, but she kissed back we both froze when we heard the bathroom door on Star's side move.

Penny's P.O.V

   I opened the door to the bathroom. I saw Star and Marco, not doing anything weird, still standing awfully close to each other. I started to dramatically slow clap. "Wow guys GREAT SHOW, I'm impressed really. It was like..  A REALLY CHEESY SOAP OPERA, with actual soap! Congrats you two! But honestly, could you guys TALK ANNY LOUDER?! You were practically begging for attention!

   Like, let's see how that can lead to misunderstandings... a teenage boy half naked in a bathroom with a slutty princess with the doors locked.. hmmmm I don't see how that could be bad!" I said sarcastically tilting my head. Oh, not to mention I went through some of your stuff Star and.. oh. Would you. Look. At.This! Who's  Oscar Greeson ehh, ehhhhhhh your boyfriend or something?

   He's seems like your type, you guys are both freaks that like to stick their nose into places they don't ｂｅｌｏｎｇ～ Welp! I've had all the fun I could have in here, oh and Marco, I suggest you check on your truthfulness of your 'relationship' with Star." Baiiii~^^ I said walk-in our leaving the door open. Behind me I saw Marco and Star face each other. Foolish, not knowing for me... the fun has just begun..
