The definition of light is that it is a form of energy that makes it possible to see things. Darkness, however, is the absence of light.
Story Henrick is a young woman fresh out of college and hoping to find her calling in helping others, but with little to show for the skills to do so. Bright, friendly, and kind, Story finds herself in a city that was warned to be very corrupt, dangerous, and seldom spoken of to the point it was hardly ever heard of, especially to her. Most of all, Sheldon City is known for the frequent disappearances of its female citizens.
So the question remains; Can light truly stand out in total darkness? Or will darkness consume light until it is completely absent?
