= Tetsuya's POV =

I woke up from the ring of my alarm. It was Saturday. After we celebrated, the coach said that we could ha e a day off in training. I sat up from my bed and decided to do my usual morning routine. I went to the bathroom then fix my extraordinary bed hair and I then brush my teeth. Just as I went out of the bathroom I heard my phone ringing. I looked at the caller and saw that it was an unknown number but I still answered it.

"Hello. Who's this?" I ask

"Tetsuya-kun, this is your doctor, Karui "

"Oh, Karui-san. Did you need something?"

"I just called to inform you about the tests I did but after some thinking I want you to come here instead" he said. Karui-san is my family's personal doctor and I came to him yesterday when I felt my body getting weak while my head felt dizzy. It happened last night when we we're celebrating our victory.

"Hmm..... okay Karui-san. I'll come in the hospital about 9:00" I said while looking at my clock which showed 7:35 am.

"Okay then bye"

"Bye. Oh and Arigatou"

"Hey no need to say thanks. It's after all my job" I heard on the other line then it was cut. I placed my phone on my desk drawer beside my bed then sighed.

"I wonder how it turned out. I hope it didn't become worst" I mumbled. You see,my family is really rich but I don't show nor reveal it to anyone because I didn't want to be the center of attention if they found out that I'm rich.

I went to the kitchen to cook my breakfast. I decided on Bacon and eggs and hot milk.

After I ate my breakfast I look at my wall clock. 8:00. I make my way to the bathroom and took a bath. I got too comfortable on the tub and didn't realized the time. I got out and found out that it was 8:20.

I went to my closet searching for clothes. I wore a simple blue shirt and white pants. I look at myself in the mirror then blinked.

"It wouldn't hurt if I styled up a bit" I said and went back to my closet and changing my clothes.

I now wore a blue Polo shirt with black and white striped shirt underneath and black jeans paired with blue and black rubber shoes. I put headphones on my neck the and connected it to my phone and put it in my pocket. I looked back on the mirror and smiled feeling proud of my look.
I look at my watch. 8:35.

'Looks like I'll be early' I thought and decided to walk to the hospital since it's not far and it's still early.

I arrived at the hospital at 8:40. I ask the nurse at the counter and as expected she didn't notice me at first.

"Uhm... sorry I didn't notice you. He already said that you'll come. He's in his office right now. Just take a left and look for a door that has a nameplate ' Dr. Karui '"

"Hair, Arigatou" I said to the nurse while bowing a little then went to the direction she said to me. I knocked first then I heard a come in.

I walked in the room and saw Karui-san on sitting on his chair.

"Ohayo Tetsuya-kun"

"Ohayo Karui-San" I walk to him and he offered me to sit on the chair. I sat and looked at the papers he was holding curiously.

"I'll get to the point Tetsuya-kun..." he took a deep breath then smiled at me and he continued " you're healing..." I widened my eyes at what he said. I opened my mouth to talk but couldn't find the right words to express what I'm feeling. He chuckled at my reaction.

"But you see... for you to really heal and be who you really are... we need to conduct an operation and then after the operation you'll be able to play basketball the way you used to" his smile disappeared and his face became serious " will you accept the operation?" He asked.

I looked at him determined " I Will." I said without any hesitation in my voice. He smiled and nodded. "Okay then... I'll prepare everything" he looked at a clipboard that seemed to have all his schedule.
"Will next week be alright?" He ask and I nodded at him. I know I have school but I think I can manage considering the teacher might just put present on my attendance thinking she just didn't notice me. One of the perks of having a low presence.

"Okay now that that's settled. You should call your parents to inform it to them" I nodded and went out of his office.

"Now where should I go?" I said and got out of the hospital. I looked around and decided to go to the mall.

I was only walking to the mall then I passed by a basketball court. I stopped to look at the players who are currently playing then I realize that it was the GOM and Kagami-kun. They we're having a match. Three against three. I moved closer to the court making sure that they won't notice me.
A few minutes later the game was over and Kagami-kun's team won.

They changed players for a couple of times and Kagami-kun is the only one that hasn't lose. I smiled.

'Kagami-kun is really strong' I thought and my smile turned bitter. If the operation turned out well then... what am I suppose to do? Will I tell them the truth of what really happened? Of why am I like this?

I sigh. "I need to think this through" I muttered and went away from the court. I cancelled my journey to the mall to think about the upcoming events more. I just went home and lay on my bed.

= Akashi's Pov =

I'm here at some random court playing basketball with the rest of the Gom and Taiga. He is the only one who isn't losing. Psh.

'You are still strong even without that shadow of yours. Maybe it's time to change some members' I thought and smirked internally.
